When the cart girl came around, I ordered two flat lies, hold the sand traps and no OB.....Of COURSE she messed up my order. But since Golfnow gave me a 49% discount, on green fees, It only cost $18.00, and 4 hrs to eat that SANDwich. Shadow Lakes, is a HOOT to play

The course is in great condition, the greens are a little rough due to recent aeration. Love the layout on each hole.

Really enjoyed this course. Challenging holes and a really cool layout.

Course was in very good shape and overall improving since last time playing there. The pins were all in very tricky spots and never had a straight putt.

When I arrived it was raining lightly.When I started my round at 11.38 the rain picked up and by the end of the second hole it stoped.The elevation changes were great and the water hazards were in nice postions on the course.But by the 7th hole the rain picked back up and by the 9th hole it was a down poor.We had to mark are golf balls after the are second shoots.We couldn't hit up the dance floor due there was a stream of water cutting it into two halfs.So we road into the club house and meet the group of 5 in front taking shelter and I asked if they were giving out rain checks for half off are next round.I went inside to ask that question and was giving the answer the course was still open.My reply was it was not playable,so we waited 15 min for the rain to past and played the back 9 in sloppy conditions and the greens had standing water on them.I would like to comeback and play it dry conditions,the course has a great layout.This time mother nature won out.Thats golf some days.

I played single with another single and we were to pair up with a 2some. They let the 2some out early before a tournament of 6 groups. They did not even bother to call us in and see if we were ready. We were in the practice green waiting. My tee time is 10:50 am. The tournament was supposed to start at 11:40 am but starter let them out early, way ahead of our tee time. So we had to wait almost an hour and we were tailing this tournament play. THEY COULD HAVE DONE BETTER THAN THIS!!!

The course receives plenty of play and we played 18 holes in about 4 hours. The fairways could use some grass and because of this your drives roll out a long ways, firm dirt. They did not offer flags for handicapped players and our cart broke down on the 11th hole. The bunkers have very little sand. It's a nice layout with firm greens that have lots of break in them. We paid $22.50 per player on a weekday and the value was good.

Great round of golf with my buddies, pin location that day was really challenging although I like the speed of the green. watch, won quite a few skins and my putting that day was superb. Great green fees. I will definitely recommend this golf course.

I took a buddy of mine to the course for a birthday round. The pace of play was about 4:45, but the course is in great shape. The greens were fast, and rolled true. I definitely recommend going out and playing a round when you can find the time!

Great BBQ running outside the pro shop at the turn. All beef hotdogs were great. Nicely grilled. Other options were burgers, bratwursts and hot links. Make it easy to grab a bite on the turn without slowing down the round.

Played 36 holes 1/25/15. Course in good shape, very happy with the greens, if people would just fix their ball marks!!!!! Come on it takes 10 seconds, and you and everybody else will enjoy the experience going forward. I must have fixed 5 ballmarks on just about every green. Pay it forward people!!!!

Has some very fun and challenging holes. The view from the 16th tee box is amazing. I had a great time and will definitely be back soon.

Had a good time good staff greens were okay overall great shape

The course was in good condition, but the facilities are getting a little worn. Greens were in good shape, but were much slower than they looked.

This place consistently has the rudest clubhouse staff. I enjoy this course, but they need to talk to their guys about how to treat their customers. There's a lot of other courses in the area to choose from.

I played here several months ago and was just reflecting on what an epic trip it was. Charles the Director made my golf outing spectacular from the first phone call to the awesome meal I had in their restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The price was perfect and I actually played Deer Ridge the following day. I will definitely be playing here for years to come. Thanks to their staff for a great two days on the links!

Course was in bad condition.. Course doesn't drain well ..at times I was in mud ankle deep in fairway.. Not a course to play when it's cart path only. Staff was great didn't eat or drink.. Because the course was so wet and muddy two stars

The weather was bad, wet and cold, after rain. The course was all wet, playing on car path only gave us big challenge for my age at late seventies. Will return when the weather is more cooperative. Challenging but fun course. Golfnow,com value - very good for retired seniors like me.

Very nice course overall but the recent weather made it almost unplayable.

The staff was useless and borderline rude. Kid behind the bar was a complete joke, inept and incompetent all at the same time. Guy behind the desk at the pro shop made the kid behind the bar look like employee of the month material. Carts didn't work. Had to push ours up the hill on fifteen because the gears kept bucking the cart back and forth. Grabbed the bags off the carts and left them both in the fairway on 18. Never going back, recommending same choice to everyone I know
