Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

Always Fun
Variety of unique holes. Spectacular views from the 3rd and 17th tee boxes. Always a challenge.
Ohio visitor.
Great course for the cost. Greens very good. Landing areas nice and challenging from the white tees. Next time I'll play the blues. Hit 9 PW SW to most greens. 39 and 40 front back scores. Nice pace of play. I did 18 in two hours on early bird hot deal. Love to play that way. Hate slow play. No studies have shown that slow play helps your game. Hit it or get out of the way.
Very good experience
Very good value. Fun course to play. Very good service.
Best public course in the Lake geneva area
We played on a Wednesday morning it was perfect no one pushing us .The course is very challenging but fun to play. We make an effort to get there from Chicago at least once a year wish it was closer so I could play it everyday
wonderful
it truly is a special place to go enjoy,
the maturity of the course is finally showing just how glorious this golf course is,
if you want to be treated to a great experience from;
the time you get out of your car till the time you leave, play HAWKS VIEW.
conditions are second to none
staff is above friendly
treat yourself
This is a Must Play in Lake Geneva
Although the courses at Grand Geneva are probably better known in the Lake Geneva area, this course is outstanding and a better value (nothing against the great courses at Grand Geneva). Course was in outstanding condition, greens were the toughest I've putted this year...you likely won't have a flat putt anywhere.
Very scenic
This course is a hidden gem, very challenging, great condition, greens were inconsistent as far as speed, excellent value before 7am although grounds keepers were everywhere which was somewhat anoying, but hey you've got to maintain it sometime.
fair and challenging course
Great course. Well maintained with a lot of variety in course design. Greens fast, and undulations challenge putting skills.
fun day on the course
My husband had played the course before, but it was my first time there. The course was not busy so we felt like we had the course to ourselves. All of the staff and facilities were very nice. The rolling hills and mounds of heather made for an interesting and scenic round.
Great Deal
Course was in good condition, 4some before us was late so I felt rushed as starter was pushing to make up the time.
Greens always in great shape, roll is very true.
Will play again when I can find another deal online, just think it is a little high price wise at regular rates.
Staff is always wonderful.
this course is well maintained
Well maintained course, challenging enough for a 12 handicap. Some back up at par 3, but use it as an opportunity to take in the views.
The greens
The green are in great shape.
They a true
The ball rolls nice
One of our favorite courses to play.
The course is always in great shape. Not many trees, but there's enough of other kinds of trouble. Greens were very smooth and fast.
Skydivers and Golf
Kind of neat, while practicing they had skydivers for a fundraiser which was neat to see. Course was a awesome links course. Views were excellent of the valley. Fairways excellent. Green rolled smooth. The way they incorporated natural setting into the course was really neat.
Wet conditions.
Though it was cart path only we still played a quick round. The course was in great shape. Greens fast and true. Had a great time! Food and Bloody Mary's after were great!
Beautiful Course. Poor Bev Cart Service.
I played this course before and definitely enjoyed the whole experience. I just HAD to come back and show my cousin just how GORGEOUS this course is. I will definitely come back REGARDLESS of the VERY POOR BEVERAGE CART SERVICE we had. We skipped breakfast to make our 6:30am tee time. FINALLY we meet up with the beverage cart at the 11th hole green. She parks very close next to our cart, her foot propped on top of cart's dash. After telling her everything we wanted, she doesn't move at all from seat. My cousin and I are looking at each other confused wondering how does it work?. After an awkward 30 seconds I ask " how does it work here? Do we grab it ourselves or...? " she replies "sure, definitely. It'll make my job a whole lot easier". She didn't even bother turning her head to see what we grabbed. I asked her if SHE can place an order for us for food in restaurant/bar. She tells me no one is there (it was about 10am). Just obviously lacking motivation. She even pulled away with some of the cart plexi-glass doors flapping around. That's the only setback I experienced at Hawk's View. I believe her name was HAILEY. I think the only way I would go back is if I get a really good deal. And maybe simply take my own snacks.
At least the rest of the staff were GREAT!!! The starter was nice. At check in service was polite. Even the nice kid Cody at the end of our round made the completion of our round AWESOME. It was his well mannered and excellent help that made my cousin and I forget about the bad apple.
Overall, excellent course.
Course was Empty
The weather was good somewhat cloudy, temp was warm around 70. Started at 9 am and there was nobody on the course we played in about 3 hours. Avoid Fairway bunkers to score well and make sure to play the tee box that suits your game. Back Tee's are very Dificult
Good deal
Fun, Challenging course. I would have thought it would have been in better condition but that could be a result of a very tough winter.
Great golf
Played Hawk's view for the second time, course is in great shape. Greens are perfect, fast and true.
Enjoyed the round shot my handicap very pleased.
