Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

Great course but the pace of play was really really bad!
What can I say. They course and greens are fantastic. Great place to play but what I don't understand is why it takes so long to play. When will course marshals actually have the guts to move slow groups up?!! It was a MISERABLE pace of play!!! There were marshals there but I think they are afraid to actually do the tough part of there job and move slow pokes up. Instead, they opt to make it a long day for everyone who actually understand what a responsible 4 hour pace of play is about by not doing anything. I don't get it. So if you want to play a really fun and challenging course, Hawks View is a great choice. Just be prepared to spend most of your day there and stock up on refreshments and maybe bring your laptop or a good book to read so you can take your mind off of waiting 5-10 minutes on each shot. It will be a long long day...
GREAT PLACE!!! SMOOTH GREENS!!
I played this course on may 7th 2014. The course was in excellent condition. I was very impressed with the greens they rolled true and fast. It had some beautiful views, I bought the round on golfnow under hot deals so I got a SCREAMING deal!!! I definitely will be back.
Well maintained course
Condition was very impressive and the greens were quite fast. Thought the course had a good variety of holes with a few nice elevation changes. Staff was friendly, course workers were attentive, and the overall experience was good. Just a good solid course at a great price from Golfnow.
Great course even at 32 degrees
Perfect conditions today although the greens are still sandy from the air-ration. I played from the Blues today as the length is just right if you like more elevated tee boxes. The greenskeepers need to be commended for hiding when I was on the green...they actually we always out of my sight line when I was chipping and putting...bravo. No leaves on the course as they continued to blow them off the pristine fairways. My only beef with the course is Hole #18 as it just feels like a wide open driving range hole that opens up to an easy green....I would have loved a dog-leg or water to finish on but again it's my favorite course in the area. I rank it in the top 3 as I like the Geneva National courses a bit better. Thanks again for the $9 play in the cold....great deal.
Hit straight off the tee or pay.
This course is extreemly challenging but well worth the half dozen golf balls. If you can keep it in the fairway you will fare much better than I.
Great course layout, lot of elevation & terrain changes
First time playing this track, will definitely go back soon!
nice challenge
great variety of tees, which can change course from tame to challenge quickly.
love this course
Excellent course, very well maintained. I will play here often!
this is a great course to play. good layout.
I found the course in great shape and very challenging. Hole 10 is one of the best par 5's you can play. The par 3's were also well done. The course design is well laid out. The hazards were well positioned to challenge you on most holes. We enjoyed lunch at your restaurant, food was very good.
Great Course
Love. Love, Love Como Crossings. Best course in the Lake Geneva area and I have played them all multiple times. Always a good pace of play which is unusual at other courses in the area. A challenge for any golfer and truly a scenic golf course. Well maintained.
lives up to the five stars
It was everything i hoped it was gonna be. 1st class course.
Good layout, needs some attention
The tee boxes were poor, the greens were okay, it's a nice course but not great. The staff in the club house were not very friendly, I would have a hard time telling someone to go there with all the other choices around. Sorry
fast undulating greens great challenge
fast big undulating greens beautiful course pristine conditions , very challenging memorable course, highly reckomend playing
This is a very beautiful course.
I love to play this course and GolfNow makes it affordable for me.
Lovely course and fun for all skill levels.
Played here after playing some other courses in the area. The multiple tees make it very attractive for all skill levels. The course is beautiful, especially the holes with the large elevation changes. The open layout lets the average player have a bad shot but not totally kill the round. By far the best value in lake gevea if you grab a special on golfnow or something similar.
Only gripe is the bunkers: the sand is larger, which makes the bunker play not as true.
Great course in excellent condition
A beautiful golf course with excellent views, no housing on the course. The greens were receptive but fast, fun to putt. Teed off very early but the greens had already been mowed. Sand traps pristine. Highly recommend.
Great time
Par 3s were challenging and scenic. Most of the greens were in great shape. Had a good time and will go back again
very nice, good course
Very nice course, staff was friendly. condition of the course was very good, and well designed.
Requires accurate drives off the tee.
Very scenic and the course is very well maintained. Lots of trouble, especially sand traps which are everywhere. It seemed like every shot had to be well placed to avoid the many hazards like tall grass, out of bounds and of course the many sand traps.
Great Condition!!!
I would play here again without a doubt! I was disappointed with the ranger hassling us about our pace however. We were not wasting any time, and did not appreciate being placed under undue pressure. Other than that, it was fantastic!
