Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

Great Course
A great challenge for the average golfer and better. A bit pricey compared to some other courses but you get what you pay for. One of my 2 favorite courses in the area - the Palmer course being my other fav.
Wish I didn't live so far away
Great looking course, with a super friendly staff.
Only negative was the halfway house closed at 5:00 so we had to go all the way back to the clubhouse to get food and drinks at the turn. Other than that, it was a great course, and the golfnow price was unbeatable!!! I'd recommend playing from at least the blue tees. Whites are waaay too short.
Pace of play hiders the beauty of this course.
The course is beautiful, the value is average and the difficulty is moderate. There are a few holes which punish you for hitting a good shot, but all in all this is a great course to play as long as it's not too busy!
Great course. Fun challenge.
Hawk's View has great conditions, challenging greens, some great views, and will challenge even the best golfers from the back tees without being unfair. It is a fun course to play, but not for the beginner.
Great views on this course, nothing plain about this course.
I love playing this course a couple times a year, too expensive to play every week but a very nice treat. Would definitely recommend for the golfer looking for a challenge.
Better than good
Overall great experience.
Good, fast greens.
Nice layout and course design with ample water, bunkers and elevation changes.
Well maintained with a variety of tee boxes to offer a good test for golfers of all abilities.
Distances well marked on the course.
The local area is spoiled for choice with many high quality golf courses, and this fits that category.
Play here, you'll enjoy it!
Beautiful course
The rough needed cutting very badly. Certain areas are very difficult to get to especially if you have any walking problems.
Cost is a little high and probably would not golf here if nit for your participation with Golf Now with special deals.
New Favorite Place!
I have golfed in Lake Geneva area for 15 years, and the grand geneva was my favorite, but no more! This course has everthing you can want, and no be uppety! From bag check through check in- absolutely great and friendly staff!! Course is in great shape all the time, even through the drought! Very challanging, spectacular views, red tail hawks flying about:-)- add the great food of chef Eric, and the waitstaff from people like Brook, Dave at the front- and Jacqui in the cart- all great, fun, people wanting to make your experience here great! OH- and check out the night golf int he summer!
Played with a year end special
A fun course to play with good selection of tees to play from
Great variety from hole to hole ... challenging too!
Played as a twosome on an autumn Monday morning at sunrise. With no waiting and golfer mania to worry about, we played one of our most enjoyable rounds of the year. Course was in great shape even with some minor imperfections on the greens as a result of this year's aeration. We really enjoyed variety from hole to hole. Found the layout, sand trips and greens to be a great challege for the average golfer.
Only negative would be the gps system. Not the most current/sophiscated system, but work well enough to help us!
Stunning Scenery
The back nine is where this course comes alive. Switchback holes as you finish up the side of glacier formed valley. Incredible elevation changes really bring the "Wow" factor.
Beautiful in the Fall!
Course had just airated. Greens even airated were running true! Great Job!!!
I would highly recommend playing this course.
3 of the best par 3's in the Geneva Lakes area. Great layout with some fantastic views of the surrounding area as well as the course itself. The only negative is no seed bottles on the carts or anywhere on the course. I love the layout and the people that work there, they make it so you look forward to coming back.
Very nice place to play!
The only criticism I have is that there were no Port-o-potties on the front 9! We played there two days in a row - quite delightful. Good Sunday brunch (included with greens fee as well).
only 5 star course in the geneva area
Booked as a hot deal on golfnow for 50% off...course was in great condition...definitely would recommend to anyone...one of my new favorite courses.
A gem!
Lots of terrain changes, big green, very fast, and hard to read if you ignore the surrounding hills! Nice pace of play!
