Best Food and Golf Experience at the Lake
I have had the opportunity to play over 20 of the top 100 public courses in the country and this is still a favorite. Is it as majestic as Pebble or Torrey no but it is still so much fun. The course itself is a creative gem, nothing like it, it does remind me of Mederas in Poway, CA. For some reason I love the long winding trails between holes threw the Ozark hills. You would never walk this one. The restaurant is just terrific, eggs benedict are in a class by them selves. On my most resent visit my buddy left a very nice non golf item in the cart and he figured it was a goner but while we were having dinner 3 hours later the staff looked up my phone number and called me to let me know they had the very small item. The next morning we picked it up. If you go to the Ozarks and do not eat and play Bear Creek you made a mistake.

Great value!
Quickly becoming my favorite course at the lake. Great value for the money. Course was in good shape again.
My only complaint is that apparently nobody likes to repair ball marks here. That’s not on the course, however. If you’re good enough to stick one on the green, take the 5 seconds to repair your ball mark.

Done with this place
This course is pretty decent but the staff borders somewhere between neutral and unfriendly. Multiple times I have been there and experienced rude staff and the members are a bunch of shorty old men who won’t even shake your hand when the starter pairs you with them. I’m never going back

Cool course
Bear creek is in great shape right now. Tough course of the tee box with trees lining the fairway but the greens are more forgiving. Never a challenging putt no matter the hole.

Great Course
The course was in excellent condition..
The pace of play couldn’t have been better..
The terrain was very beautiful
We stayed for late lunch & the menu was well above the norm for a golf course pub.

Beautiful Course
This is a beautiful well maintained golf course..
Very hilly/mountainous?? Fairways & Greens are very well maintained..
