Came back to Bear Creek after swearing it off a couple of years ago because some holes were just too impossible. But they've rebuilt these holes, and they're improving other holes as well. Course was in excellent shape.
While most MO courses offer their share of difficulties because of the hills, Bear Creek is particularly stunning and has no homes along the fairways to impede this beauty. Highly recommend as a great value.

I play Bear Creek several times a year. It was in good shape. Bunkers had sand rather than rocks like some courses near here.

It was a slow day for the course, so they sent out a bunch of twosomes. Unfortunately, this resulted in us waiting on every hole to play. Would appreciate it if the courses would combine twosomes. It makes things faster.

Course was great but greens just sanded which made putting very hard.

I hadn't played here in over 5 years so thought we'd give it a try while on vacation. Very glad we did - no complaints whatsoever! Fairways were outstanding and rough was cut to a playable height for casual players. There are some interesting holes for sure, and you are often faced with side hill lies even in the fairways so we're challenging to figure out what to do. The staff was very friendly and gave us some tips for playing a couple of holes that have large elevatin changes - right on advice! Truly enjoyed playing Bear Creek Valley and will definitely play here again next time visiting the Lake!

Excellent course conditions even with the amount of rain & heat that central Missouri has had this summer. Got a good deal on golf now for this course & it's worth every penny. One of my favorite course layouts.

Loved the course. Took a lot of rain and did not drain well. Course was pure mud. Pace of play was horrendous and staff did not even address the issue. Played the 18 holes in just under 6 hours. Very disappointed in the staff not addressing the pace of play issue

This course is very hilly and definitely about placing shots strategically. Many holes it is better to not use a driver so that you have a much better lie into the green. As a lady golfer I enjoyed this course because it did challenge the short game. If you are a golfer who is more about long shots off the tee, this course may not be for you. There are many blind shots so I definitely look forward to playing this course again.

Great deal and a good course to play while vacationing at the ozarks

Went there for the first time. They had a women's tournament going on during my round. Very slow play. Why let golfers in when there is a tourney going on?
The course was very wet with the recent rain. Greens in decent shape, fairways decent and tee boxes was average.
Would like to go back when the course is dried out. Staff was friendly. Parking was ridiculous. No spots had to wait 10 to 15 miss just to park.

I do like this course. However upon my play after two hours and 45 minutes I was only on whole seven. Needless to say I was unable to finish the course at that rate of play. Course is well taken care of very diverse and fun.it was just the wrong day I suppose. I will definitely play again. Enjoy golf now and think that they do a great job and I'm happy that I get the opportunity for some discount golf.

Due to recent rain, course was "cart paths only". This is a little challenging with all of the hills. Weather was steamy - you don't get much breeze on some of the lower elevation holes.
Several blind tee shots from the longer tees. Challenging, but rewarding when you hit a decent tee shot.
Greens were in good shape and consistent.
GolfNow was a great value - $48 for two golfers.

The greens were in great shape and the rest of the course was in good shape. Not crowded for a Sunday morning and pace of play was good.

From tee #2 The course had some quirks with blind tee shots and less than driver holes but overall an interesting course layout and tough greens.

Beautiful views and challenging shot placement. Excellent staff, very friendly.

Good track, lots of elevation change, quick greens. In good condition, one hole under construction staff was very cordial. Will play again!
