Bear Creek Valley Golf Club

I played this course 2 days in a row, the golfnow price was great, other than one hole undergoing construction it was in great shape on day 2 warmer weather the pace of play got so slow that I quit at 15 tee as there were 3 group's waiting but the course, food and staff were excellent.

Course was best one we played while there for long golfing weekend. Great shape. A little challenging for the average golfer. A lot of uphill, downhill, side hill lies. Some water, really only comes into play on very first hole.

What a great course! It has a wonderful mix of holes with varying degrees of difficulty. Overall a great round of golf. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for fun with a challenge.

loved all the trees and beautiful views. had rained for a few days before our round.. course was a bit mushy and muddy in parts ...

Challenging course. Play a few times and learn the landing areas. Maintenance staff did a great job.

Try to play this course every time we come to The Lake of the Ozarks. Some holes are challenging but not so much that they frustrate you. I find myself trying to find a better strategy to play those holes every time I visit the course. It is a "must try" if you have not played this course. You will keep coming back!

My wife and I had a great time, conditions were perfect and the course was in awesome shape. Bear Creek is a nice challenge, slope and elevation changes make it somewhat difficult, but it is player friendly at the same time. And the views are outstanding. Staff was awesome as they allowed us some flexibility of our tee time. This allowed us to finish our lunch at the bar/restaurant facility with our wives. Course was extremely quiet for a Tues afternoon start and made the round relaxed. Weather for this time of year was sticky but the water coolers had the best cold water available. Course from tee to green was well maintained and offered many great shot opportunities over the 18.

Course is on top of the list Lake of the Ozarks venue.

Never played before and was impressed with the course. Interesting layout with tight fairways and a lot of elevation changes. Have to really think about where you are placing your shots which makes for a fun round. Pace of play was great for a Saturday afternoon. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all very well manicured. I expected at least a few dead spots or areas in need of repair on a public course but they were tough to find. Main complaint would be for a course of this level of difficulty not being able to hit woods on the range is a huge disadvantage "for me at least" if you want to score well. Would not play again unless the practice range is improved.

Course was in immaculate shape. Guy behind counter was extremely nice. Went in the afternoon and was no one else out there. Challenging course with a lot of risk/reward. Would highly recommend to anyone. Lesser players might want to bring extra balls!

Played two days and both were good to me. Thought the water would be a problem but not really. Very pretty course.

Course beautiful and very fun to play. Cannot complain about the fairways or greens. Somewhat short, but narrow and challenging. Loved the elevation changes. However, no beverage cart ever came around and the snack shack at number 10 was closed at 3:30 when we made the turn. There was water coolers periodically, but we were miserable without drinks in the cart. So I would recommend purchasing food and drinks prior to tee off.

Had a very nice round on the 4th of July. Enjoyed the course and the lunch included was definitely a bonus. Nice of the staff to include a lunch. Highly recommend the course as it is challenging but still fair for the average golfer.

I'm a 20 handicap and had difficulty with the front nine from holes 4-9 mostly because it slope. Shot 50 on front and 46 on back. It's certainly a challenge but the layout is prestige and plays mostly fair.
Will be more aware of hazards next time.

Course was great but no beverage cart on back nine and snack shop was closed on a 90 degree day. ;-(. When we got in after 18 bar was closed by 6:45.
