About
Indian Well Golf Resort boasts two championship courses that have been ranked in the top 20 golf courses in California. The Celebrity Course was first to open in 2006 and it was joined a year later by the Players Course. The Celebrity Course offers stunning mountain views from start to finish. It has been the two-time host to the PGA Tour's Skins Game. Water is a prominent feature of the scenic landscape with streams, brooks, and split-level lakes connected by cascading waterfalls. The lush, undulating fairways contrast beautifully with the colorful flowers and sparkling blue waters. Both the greens and fairways are kept in immaculate condition. In addition to the golf course, Indian Wells also offers a practice area with a putting and chipping green and practice bunkers.

Always no.1 GC!
I come every year to the valley , travelling from Italy and I always look for a tee time at Celebrity. This is the best course I have ever played!
Windy day, lots of debris
Nice course, unfortunately very windy day w lots of debris. Quite expensive (229) daytime rates, but twigglight rates great deal. Worth exploring

I always play the Celebrity course when visiting the Palm Desert area and never disappoint.
Tee to green on par with the best
made an impromptu to the area and got an early tee 8:10 time. Complimentary valet parking, fantastic pro shop, and friendly staff. The range is state of the art, even though the yardage was a bit off. The course was in great shape. The greens were fast, but fair. The ball rolled great, but held nicely as well. I would place this course is right up there with the best of them, including Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, Spanish Bay...ect
5+ hour rounds just don’t work!
What a shame to have a beautiful golf course ruined by having to wait on every tee box, sometimes with 2 groups.
We had an afternoon tee off time and were only able to get in 15 holes due to the horrible slow play. Hard to understand too as they have a lot of staff there.
Not coming back.
No Food
Driving range limited to 150 yard
No food at the turn
Had to share a cart with someone outside of my group.
All of these are “normal” for a golf course - but hard to swallow after paying $260+ for a tee time.
Sadistic Greens
Due to sadistic pin placements, lightening fast greens and very undulating greens, be ready to shoot 8 shots higher than your average.
Beautiful course and hole designs (too much sand tho), but
I’d suggest this to their grounds staff:
Greens are way too fast for the contours, and don’t have so many extreme pins, right near front or near the back.
Makes it impossible for amateurs with hdcps higher than 4 or 5.
I’m a 6 and it crushed me.
Given all that, it wasn’t even CLOSE to being worth the $.
