Dos Lagos
Parts of the course need some TLC, especially the tee boxes and sand traps. It did appear they were trying to reseed the tee boxes, but the temporary tee boxes were even worse. The fairways and greens were in good condition. The greens were PGA fast. Very hard to determine speeds of puts. You barely hit it and it went 10 plus feet. Not fun for a recreational golfer, but interesting. Nice layout. If the tee boxes were in better condition, this would be a nice course to play.

Below the average
The green condition was generally good. But the fairway was too hard, and the tee box was in the worst condition. The game pace was slow, it took five hours. The golf cart needed improvement.

Great Course
One of SoCal's best courses. Challenging, Fun, and priced right. Some courses in California are WAY WAY over priced for what they offer. (I am looking at you Oak Quarry) Dos Lagos is not that.

The worst experience in Dos lagos
I like dos Lagos until today. I played a lot here before like it for everything, layout, good green, even fairway a little bit dry out but acceptable. But not more, today is my worst experience here. Slow pace, waiting at least 5 mins every shot. All tee boxes are under maintain no one tell me during boot the tee time. So need to driver ball from the place between tee boxes with slope and rough. Speed of green is good as before but very bumpy with a lot of divots. Bunker is nightmare full of steps. I will not back at least for months.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Changed my tee time and out of carts
I haven't played here since pandemic.
I booked tee time a couple weeks ago for 11:49am. I checked in and they changed my tee time unapologetically to 11:57am. I showed my golfnow tee time and he ignored it and said it's only a few minutes later. I wanted to golf so didn't make much of it.
And I guess getting a cart is hard to come because they are short of carts. I couldn't get a cart until 10 min before tee time. Apparently this has been happening for a year especially after 11am (they run out of carts).
Other than the above, it's a fun course. But they are redoing tee boxes so it's pretty bad. And aeration on the greens so not greatest condition. Take note to just go in to have a fun round of golf.

Dos Lagos never fails. Course layout is nice, especially the back 9. Pace of Play is solid, this is one of my favorite courses in the IE.

Golf cart problem
The last 3 times that I've been to this place I've had to wait for a golf cart and this time was the worst I had to wait half an hour... therefore not finishing 18 holes. Get a larger cart barn DOS logos Besides that it's a great place to play

Great course, not so good the pace
Booked a 3-some for 12:14pm and unfortunately We were no able to start until about 1:00pm.
I loved this course since the time I played. Sadly it does not have a range to warm up (only a small cage or irons)

A Lot of Bang for the Buck.
The course recently punched their greens so they were what you'd expect; sandy, bumpy, etc. It was still a fun round of golf. The weather was cool and cloudy, a nice departure from the hot weather the past few months. The course was not terribly busy so we never had to wait to hit a shot, nor were we being pressed from behind. The rest of the course, save a few tee boxes, was in fine shape with only a few areas of dead turf. The course has a number of very challenging holes but is very fair. Me and my group love the course and the fee for seniors is normally $41-45, but due to the greens we paid $33. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, especially Ruth, who is a Rock Star! I live a mile from Tijeras Creek Golf Course in Orange County and used to play there weekly, but it's not nearly worth what they're now charging for a round of golf. I gladly drive the 35 miles to Dos Lagos for a round a third of the price.

Fun track and very playable
This is a very fun course that moves quite well. The greens were just punched when I played, but putts were still rolling and fairways were good considering our drought conditions in So Cal.

Nice Course
Good layout with fair grass conditions except for a couple holes with extreme elevations. Has a hitting cage rather than a real driving range.
