The course was nice, but the pace of okay was very slow, took us over 5 hours to finish. The fairways were pretty dry and light in color, the greens were terrible. You could not read a single putt because some greens ran slow and some ran fast, you have a slight slope down to the left and the ball rolls right. I haven’t seen greens this poor in forever.

Great Links Conditions. 8-minute Tee Time Gaps = Bummer

Greens were rolling smooth and medium-fast. Course conditions were firm and fast--what you'd expect on one of the few "true" links courses in the Inland Empire. This course has such a rich, fun, challenging layout. It's a shame that they didn't buy just a smidge more land for a driving range and that the tee-times are so closely spaced. You remedy those things and I'd easily pay $90+ for this course.

Perfect greens!

I've played Dos Lagos about 5 times including yesterday. The greens have always been good. Yesterday, they were rolling fast, were mostly clear of ball marks, and were just the right texture. The course allows you to putt from off the green, I putted one from 50 yards off the green, i.e., like a British Open. When it's windy, there's an equal balance of downwind and into the wind holes, almost more downwind holes it seems. You can hit some long drives. Most importantly, it's a fun course to play. I hit the ball better there than at other courses. The golf carts are fast and let you roam, the way it should be. Will play it again soon!
