About
Hawk's Eye Golf Resort in Bellaire is one of the top 15 public courses in the state of Michigan. The championship course is the centerpiece of a tucked away golf community in the northern part of the state. The golf course offers something for every skill level. Beginners are welcomed by the generous fairways and forgiving greens while the more advanced players will enjoy all of the risk-reward opportunities. The back tees are also positioned so that there are more forced carries that require greater accuracy. The layout sprawls across windswept hills and wooded valleys. The towering trees give way to beautiful views of Intermediate Lake and the surrounding countryside. In addition to the golf course, Hawk's Eye offer practice facilities including large driving range and a nine-hole putting course.

They just overbook the course
The layout of this course is pretty cool, standard up north Michigan course. It was just so disappointing to play in a twosome and have the round take near 6 hours. There were several group in front of us who seemed like it was their first time golfing and had no idea what pace of play is. Then they sent out the head pro because we called and told him they were playing each hole in 25-30 min. He drives up to us and just tells us there’s nothing he can do because there’s too many groups. Well buddy you shouldn’t have overbooked the course. Also the greens were very average. Wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone.

If you haven’t played Hawk’s Eye, it’s a must
In Northern Michigan, Not a lot of Water shots
Some deep Bunkers though, Perfect fairways & Greens.....lots of Elevation changes 200-300ft
Great views & plenty of Wildlife.
I thought the value was good, We jumped on a Hot Deal, and got to go out as a twosome, Pace of play was no problem as the caliber of Golfers was good.....Staff was very friendly....You’ll love it

Hawks Eye on a Bet
My friends said to play Hawks Eye so I Purchased the hot deal off Golf Now since I have wanted to play this course for the last three years. We played on a Monday morning and were able to play a twosome and play at a good pace for twelve holes. The foursome ahead of us really slowed down on the back nine but ended up quitting so we were able to finish on our pace. The course is outstanding and the greens very large and receptive. It will help to know the greens next time since they have lots of slopes and elevation changes

What a great course. Staff friendly. I was so impressed by this layout. Literally most of the holes could be their signature. Every hole was by itself and the elevation change was impressive. I would definitely recommend.

Great layout of a course. Got an exceptional deal through Golf Now. Only drawback was that the greens were very slow like velcro. Otherwise very enjoyable

Beautiful course
Amazing course to go out and test your skills, challenges off the tee box, challenging approach shots and putting is a tough one. Layout is beautiful but the course could be kept up a little better for the price. Overall great course and experience.

Great value! Diamond in the rough in NW Michigan
Hawk's Eye is a tremendous value in NW Michigan. Always in great condition, especially this year with all the rain we've had. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Pace of play is never an issue. Highly recommend playing this course if you get the chance!

Always a great time
With all the rain this year, the grass is green and lush, but the fairways had plenty of roll. Greens were immaculate. Will be back.
