Quarry Pines Golf Club

My second time at Quarry. Introduced my brother. We were amazed at the beauty, challenges and creative imagination of the Quarry.

Course is spectacular. Not having a driving range is a major disadvantage. The course requires a warm up to be ready to hit good shots. Otherwise a great test of golf.

Not your typical back-and-forth layout. The front starts out sort of normal but when you get to the backside, it’s like that old girlfriend that went berserk as soon as she started drinking tequila, keeping score takes the fun out of it with this one. You’ll never forget that one shot you pulled off.

Very scenic and challenging, especially on the back nine.

Course was in excellent condition and the front and back nines provided a great range of challenges.

Superintendent and Grounds Crew doing a great job.

Course is in great shape. Kudos to the Superintendent and Grounds Crew.

Greens were inconsistent

Seemed like a lot of grass was dormant

Fairways were thin, difficult to play the ball down

Took just over 5 hours to plan in perfect conditions

Very interesting course layout. Rate of play was very slow however. Took five hours to play.
