Quarry Pines Golf Club

Course was in great shape. The staff is super friendly. Only drawback was the foursome ahead of us that finished with two open holes ahead of them.

The course is a great layout and a good idea was behind it's formation. I live in Maine..if there is one thing we have--it's water... Tucson AZ,, not so much. The tee boxes are playable...they are level and well placed.. the difference between the back tee and the farthest in the front are fair. The fairways are green.. it is dirt,, hard as rock. I am 70 years old-- I hit the ball 160 yards--then it rolled another 80. I was often on in 2. The greens in good enough shape. Half of the greens require real thought before you putt.

This place is not cheap... but-- in AZ it's not as pricey as it could be in this area. It is a place you should play at least once.

I always look forward to the opportunity to play this beautiful course as each hole is very unique with several spectacular challenges thrown in. To score well on this course leaves you with a great feeling of accomplishment should it happen. But it really is fun.

Quarry Pines is a good course. Everyone and their cousin knows it--so-- you ain't goin no where fast-- on the 10th hole, there was a back up of 4 foursomes. It was a Saturday--if you are playing golf anywhere in the US on a Saturday--you're begging for it. They had rangers out doing their best--it was just 'busy'. They are in desperate need of water--I am an older guy... I hit the ball straight--just not far..I shot an 80 the day I was there... I would drive the ball 160;;; then it would roll another 50 yards.. so.. I was always on in two.. The place has some very interesting holes..the best? go on a week day the day after a rain storm.

Back 9 is tight. A lot of elevation changes. Sandra's need some work.

Every hole different and every hole a challenge. Enjoy.

Great course, loved it. Maintence crew is doing a great job. However the rest of the golf crew were rude and not helpful, food court was aweful. Closed before 4PM. My Tee Time was 2 so when I made the turn they were closed. No ice for drinks, no coolers, they need to put that on the website so people know they can bring drinks with ice. We are in the desert. Knowing this would have been so much nicer. Told me I had to have the cart back by 7PM or else. Not sure what else meant. Will play again as the course was great and I know what to expect now from the golf side.

Played for the first Time and wasn’t disappointed. Layout is very nice. Everytime you play a course for the first Time you feel sometime not knowing where to hit but this course is very open and most of the Time you see your Ball landing. Fareways where in good shape and greens in excellent shape Just Fast enough. Would definetly recommand.
