About
del Lago Golf Club sits at an elevation of 3,400 feet, enjoying a temperature that is five degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer, which makes a big difference under the hot Arizona sun. Winding through the hills and valleys of the high desert, the golf course features over 120 feet of elevation changes that present tricky uneven lies. The dramatic undulations also offer beautiful views of the Rincon and Santa Catalinas Mountain ranges. Golfers start at the highest point on the course and then play down into the valley before getting to the back nine, which plays along the Pantano Wash. The first hole is the only forced carry on the course, the remaining holes are friendlier off the tees. Seven lakes dot the golf course, coming into play on six holes, and there is also heavy bunkering around the greens.

Great value
Great overall but the traps were not good
Too many rocks and not enough sand
But….really good price

Beautiful well taken care of course
This was my first time playing a round at Del Lago. I’ve used the off-course amenities before, which are top notch! The course follows suit in this regard as well. Extremely well cared for from tee box to green! Visually stunning, with beautiful hazards laid out strategically throughout the course! The sand traps on 1 were quite rocky, but as the course got deeper into the neighborhoods and away from pure surrounding desert, it was perfect beachy style sand. 10/10 course, and will happily play again and again!

Challenging but enjoyable
This course is quite challenging and requires accuracy off the Tee. The greens are in great change add to the challenge. My only complaint would be some of the cart paths are rouigh.

I like the layout from the gold tees.
Needs a few more bunker rakes. Greens awesome as is practice facility.

another great day at Del Largo, but very slow! Some people just dont get it!!! have to watch each other every shot and arent ready to play!
The Best place in Tucson to play after 12 noon. They have a fair price to play golf ! There are way to many places that want to charge big prices rifght up to 3 o clock! These course should be trying to get more people out, not making it so you can only play once a week!!.

Great course, try to play often

Had a great afternoon at Del Lago!
Decided at the last minute to play, got a great deal and a selection of tee times for only $32.50, played 18 solo and a very nice time! Tee time of 4:15 was just right to play right up until sundown.
The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 6 PM on Sunday and there are no snacks available in the pro shop, and only limited drinks - and I didn't see the refreshment cart at any point during my round. Would recommend that they at least add some more drink and snack options to the pro shop!

slow pace
after 5th hole it turned to snail pace waiting on every shot was one over after 6 holes ended with a 95 slow play ruins tempo, disgusting there was a ranger he didnt do anything

Keeps getting worse
This used to be a nice course but it's just gone downhill year after year. Idk how people keep giving this place 4 stars. It's 3 at best! 3 is average people and you can honestly look at this course and tell me it's average. It's below average. Bunkers unplayable, tee boxes very uneven so much so it's a distraction on 13/18 holes. Greens were ok but other than that the course is pretty rough.

The course was a Great Course. The car paths could use repair and the greens were very inconsistent but all in all it was a fun day on the golf course.

Slow Play
The day I was on the course it was very slow play. I was playing as a single and a 4some knew I was behind them from hole 2 or 3, looked back at me numerous times and didn't let me play through until hole 15. The groups behind me were giving ME a hard time about the slow play even though there was nothing I could do about it. The course really needed a ranger or two our there to control the pace of play and rude patrons.
