Great Day Golfing with my grandson!
Unbearably hot, but had a great time! Very nice golf coarse. Greens were recently sanded which was the only reason for the less than perfect rating. Will be going back again!
MOSQUITOS!
The mosquitos this time of year are normally bad, but this course is almost unplayable due to the mosquitos. Mosquito spray does absolutely nothing to these overly aggressive Louisiana’s mosquitos. I recommend playing this course after a week long drought.
We did not play golf at Contraband on this trip. The course was flooded due to weather and the course was not open. Not even a car in the parking lot. Not available on the day we scheduled.

Going Downhill
7th time playing course in 5 years. Greens are bad, tees are bad, fairways also not as good as they have been in past. No food in the clubhouse. Should’ve not taken the drive to play and played my local muni
Nice course when Golf now has a Great deal
Course is Fair for the Advat Golfer. Tee to Green good shape. I try and play it when i'm i town and a good deal is found.
Almost not worth the Hot Deal
Course layout is awesome.
Course condition was horrible. Every part needed mowing. Greens were bad, some with so many pock marks they were worse than the acne I had as a teenager.
Got a “Hot Deal” of $43 and it was almost not worth that. No amenities whatsoever.
Very disappointed. Won’t play again.

Fairways and greens are in good shape. Tee boxes are mostly dead with patchy weeds everywhere. Bunkers are great. Bar and grill aren’t ever open, so eat before you show up.
