Mission Royale Golf Club

The fairway turf conditions were fair. Cart paths only and so it took a long time to walk back and forth from the cart to the balls. There were three groups on one hole and so we could not finish our 18 holes as it got dark at 4.30 pm

After a few tumultuous years, Mission Royale is back to a beautiful condition. This course was all but abandoned by the previous owners and it showed. This course has been taken over by local residents that love golf and know what it takes to provide a quality golf experience.

Take the time to go try out the new and improved Mission Royale - you won't be disappointed.

When Elite took over management in March we were playing on DIRT. Now we have a course that is in its best shape since 2006

Since new management took over this course earlier this year, they have done a wonderful job of bringing this course back to prominence. Over the summer, the fairways returned to the necessary fulness. The greens were the biggest improvement with several of them being completely re-sodded and all are now in great shape. With the over-seeding happening in October, this course will be in outstanding shape.

This course has endured several years of bad management, but it has now been resurrected under new ownership and management. The improvements have been rapid and positive. Over the next year this course will become one of the most desirable in central Arizona

I have played this course since it was developed and for this time of year (summer) this is the best it has ever been. The course is owned by home owners and managed by a professional golf management company, and every dollar stays at/on the course. For the first time in years there is equipment and workers that have improved all aspects of the course. The greens are exceptional and most of the fairways set the ball up nicely. The sand traps are improving but still need quality sand but they are playable.

After over seeding this will be the nicest and most challenging course in the southeast valley.

Mission royale has been through ups and downs over the last few years, and it’s definitely trending upward at this point. Ownership and management are extremely committed to creating a great experience for players of all skill sets. Course is challenging, but not overly so, and conditions are great. Overseed starting this weekend will only improve the already nice conditions they’ve created. Definitely a nice course to check out in the Casa Grande area. Perfect spot to meet between Tucson and Phoenix.

Disregard all reviews prior to June 2021. Course has been rejuvenated. Great layout, friendly staff and the course will be dynamite after the over seed. I will be back in November . Must play

Mission Royale was in dire straits as of January 1, 2021. Golf management Elite Management team came in at approximately March 1 of 2021 and at current date and time the course has improved 98%. I would highly recommend golfing the new MissionRoyale improve course! Bring your friends and play 18 holes of a golf course beautifully laid out to test the frequent as well as the weekend hackers.

I drive up (usually with a buddy) from Tucson to play this course. This is the 5th time in 5 years I've played this course. Today the course was in the best shape I've seen it; it's a shame it's being closed soon for over seeding but it will be even better. Kudos goes to the residents who made a wise decision to 'invest' in the course. (Little known knowledge from the starter). I can see this course raising their rates after word gets out that this is worth the 45-60 min drive. Keep up the great work. The only downside, though I succeeded in avoiding them, there were too many rocks in the bunkers. I shall return, but sooner than later.

The course and fairways and greens were in good shape. Played a fast round completed in under three hours'

The greens roll true although slow ..about 7 on stemp meter. Course is a 7 out of 10 since opening. Fairways are cut tight. Course is obviously being worked on but MUCH better.. should be awesome after overseediing which is in October.

Fourth time playing the course since May. Course conditions have improved every time I’ve played. Excellent staff. Very friendly and helpful in pro shop. Starters have been excellent. During the summer Marshals bring around complimentary ice cold water and cold towels. Fairways have filled in and greens rolling quick and true. There is work still to be done to bring the course all the way back but it is in very playable condition. I have a feeling after over seeding is complete this will be a difficult tee time to obtain. Give the course a try, you will be glad you did.

First time out, played with a good friend and two owner/members. This community came together to rescue the course after previous ownership sucked the life and resources out of MR. Excellent staff engagement from pro shop to outside service, very friendly starter Marshall who brought us cold towels on the back 9. This course is a lot of fun, playable for everyone, really nice layout. The maintenance was in the rears for so long, they are currently doing a wonderful job to bring it back. I can’t wait to play again especially knowing it will only get better going into the fall. Please give this course a try if you appreciate good golf and good service.

Recently reopened, improving every day. Front and back nines reversed. Bar restaurant not open yet. Also no hot deals available as yet. Decent value for the money.
