GOLFNOW should not be advertising this coarse to its members Dead grass, weeks, embarrassing Tee boxes and really bad putting surface.

Best part of the round was it took only 2 hours to get off this cow pasture.

This was the worst course I have ever played in my 50 years playing golf. Very little grass and the greens were a mess. Mud and dirt in the fairways it was horrible. The tee boxes were dirt or hadn't been maintained for months.. The lack of pride in the course was very obvious See pictures attached. I was playing with my granddaughter and she wanted to leave after we teed off #1. This is a stain on Golf Now's reputation. I played here 3 years ago and it was average but now, No golfer at any level should play this mess.

This course always used to be in great condition, but not any more. I dont think it's seen water in months. Cant say anything good about it.

Apparently the last 'lessee' kept all of the green fees and took off without doing any maintenance. The course is being run by a local group trying to keep it open. Good luck to them.

The entire course was in deplorable condition. Tee boxes went from "bald" to overgrown; greens were dead or dying, lumpy and extremely slow; fairways were mostly dead with a lot of dead, spreading weeds that caught the ball or the clubhead when trying to hit. I hadn't played the course for close to a year and it seems that almost no maintenance had been done to it during that time.

WE DROVE THE 40 MILES TO THE COURSE.

CHECKED IN SENT OUT ABOUT 15 MINUTES EARLY 9:10A.M. FINISHED 1210.

WE ONLY ENCOUNTERED 2 SETS OF 3 IN FRONT OF US. THEY QUIT AFTER 9 HOLES. THEY HAD TOLD ME WHEN I CALLED TO SEE IF THERE WAS CART PATH ONLY. I WAS TOLD I COULD DRIVE ANYWHERE OFF THE PATH.

THIS SOUNDED GOOD. WHEN WE GOT THERE WE NOTICED THE COURSE WAS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION. THEY DID NOT LOOK LIKE THEY HAD WATERED THE COURSE AND THE GRASS WAS ALL DEAD. THE TEES ON SOME OF THE HOLES WERE NOT CUT AND THE GROUND WAS SO HARD YOU COULD NOT GET A TEE IN THE GROUND. I MUST SAY SOME OF THE HOLES ON THE BACK NINE WERE IN BETTER CONDITION THAN THE FRONT NINE. WE TALKED WITH MEMBERS WHO SAID THE COURSE WAS BOUGHT BY SOMEONE ON MONTANA AND THEY HAD NOT TAKEN CARE OF THE COURSE.

IT LOOKED LIKE AHWATUKEE LAKES AND THE CLUB WEST COURSES THAT CLOSED A FEW YEARS BACK.

TO BAD THE HOUSING ADDITION IS NICE AND THE COURSE LOOKS TERRIBLE.

I WILL NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN AND WOULD RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE PLAYS IT BECAUSE AS BAD AS IT IS NOW IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.

WHO WOULD BUY A GOLF COURSE AND TURN OFF THE WATER AND LET IT GO LIKE THIS. I ASSUME IT WILL BE CLOSING IN A YEAR OR SO IF NOT SOONER. IT SHOULD BE REMOVED AS AN OPTION TO PLAY ON GOLF NOW AND TEE OFF.

Playing the course earlier this year in the cooler months was very pleasant. Throughout the summertime the Arizona heat took its toll, then they shut down for two weeks at the end of October to spray paint all of the dead grass green? No warning at the desk about conditions. After hitting the range I realized this place is still just trying to survive while not putting any money into the conditions whatsoever.I should’ve taken a picture but literally green spray paint over a bunch of dead grass and dirt. Don’t waste your time or money here until they start to water the course again.

Must of had a major failure, hasn't been watered in weeks, damage to greens fairways and tees. No warning of condition even while checking in. Frankly unplayable as most lies were hardpan dirt. 1 green was puttable.

The course was in bad shape. No grass, or very over grown tee boxes and fairways. Greens shaggy. The staff were great, but the course should not be open in this condition.

The staff was very friendly, and we were warned ahead of time that the course conditions were less than ideal. However we were unaware just how bad it truly was. I have played this course before, and really enjoyed it. I am not sure what has happened since then, but all tee boxes were either overgrown, or barren. All fairways were either overgrown, or covered in weeds. The greens were the best part, as they were typically fairly green (a few rough spots, but that is not uncommon in the summer), but have not been mown recently. so you had to really rap the putt to get it to the hole.

I like the layout, but will only come back once the course has gone through major improvements in maintenance and course conditions.

OMG, This course was so bad I lost a ball in the middle of the fairway. How is that possible, The grass was not cut and just bad all around. Waste of time and a drive to see what Casa Grande golf course had to offer

Don’t waste your time at this course right now. Fairways had 6-8” of weeds in them. Greens were shaggy and bunkers over grown.

This course is “under new management” so I HOPE they get it turned around quickly. But for now, don’t do it.

The two employees were super friendly, that being said they need to hire more people. The coarse was in extremely rough shape. More weeds than grass in the fairways and the rough hasn't been cut in weeks. Every green was a different experience. I will chalk it up to covid but hope Mission Royale can get back to being a decent course.

This course is in very sad condition. It’s under new management so here’s hoping they will turn it around. There was no fairway to speak of and in fact it was one of the first rounds in my life where I was trying to avoid hitting the fairway in order to find the ball. No joke lost 2 balls in the deep fairway grass. The greens were in horrible shape with grass growing over the hole... for the sake of the course and community, I hope this management makes drastic quick changes. Until then, don’t waste your time at this course.

I guess I can’t speak for the entire course, since I stopped after 1.5 holes and 2 lost balls. The greens had not been mowed in a week. Think putting on a shag carpet, into the grain. The fairways were like US Open rough. I lost a ball in the first fairway. After losing ball 2 in the 2nd fairway I gave up. They did refund my money without question. The gas powered golf cart was very nice. They had unlimited balls on the driving range and since no one in their right mind will play this course, the pace of play is all up to you. Open desert might be a better option if you are willing to play anywhere.

The place is not playable and management is nowhere to be found.

Avoid this course lime the plague

Fro the dogs. Uneven cut greens clover covered fairways and tee boxes.

Course was in horrible shape. Bald patches everywhere and then patches of weeds and grass two feet high. The flags on the pins were in tatters which pretty much represented the whole course. If you played this for free you'd be paying too much. This is sad because it used to be a nice course.
