Indian Wells Golf Resort - Players Course

We took advantage of the twilight rate and enjoyed a good round of golf; started at 3:00 and finished before 7:00. Just missed happy hour, but the food was great. The course condition was excellent, especially for a busy resort.

They really keep the course in excellent condition. Greens are true and fast. Would return any time

This course is terrific and challenging and in great condition. The greens are very fast and very challenging. The fairways etc. are in great condition. The sand traps could use some more soft sand they were, for the most part to firm.

The only real annoyance were a pair of rangers who asked us several times to play faster - but there was NO ONE behind us and according to the cart's GPS we were never more than 2 minutes behind the prescribed pace.

If you wait to the day before to book a tee time thru GolfNow the price drops dramatically.

As the first time playing this course there was lots of hidden challenges the greens were not true and loss some stokes on 3 putts not nice!

Beautiful day, great course conditions, fast greens. Hit-em straight!

this is a beautiful course. everything is immaculate. the staff is friendly and helpful. the tee blocks, fairways, traps, greens are in excellent condition. the greens were very fast and did not make it easy to score well. a very nice touch is complimentary valet parking. it makes you feel special from your arrival.

This is a beautiful course in great shape when we played it in late Nov. The course ha an abundance of bunkers which will catch many wayward tee shots and any off line approaches. Greens were in great shape and not easy to read but slower (maybe 10 on the stimpmeter) than what I would have expected.

Course was in great condition for early season. Pace of play was perfect. Course staff made you feel very welcome.

Very challenging course but fun. A great day. Longest hole par five at 626 yards... Shortes hole par 3 at 146 yards.... Something for everyone.

We played this course on Oct. 30 and we had a wonderful time. This course has 7 tee boxes so you can choose which is best for you. The course was very nicely kept and the views were spectacular. Take your camera because you won't want to miss a single hole. I would definitely play this course again.

This course should be on many peoples "bucket list". From the time you pull up to the property until you leave it is an awfully good experience, not just the golf but all the amenities. Something to be experienced by the average golfer looking for the feeling of playing as a Tour Professional.

The course was in great shape despite the weather that has hit Palm Springs recently.

Off season and the course was in great shape. Folks were friendly.

From the Blues it was a 73.3/133 handicap definitely took some good driving off the tees there was a 3 hole stretch of 433/434/433 and trouble on both sides greens were lightly sanded but deceptively fast and rolled true. The cart guy was awesome when he was there but left for the day without letting us know and we were without beverages for 9 holes. Course is very nice looking forward to playing it again

The IW experience including the golf, restaurant and shopping was a truly great day. The remodel of the course and restaurant with new menus and entertainment is excellent. The staff is always friendly and efficient and aim to please. Today the greens were sanded and they are treating some spots in the fairways on the Players course, but no doubt will be perfect in no time.

Only problem the fairways are too wet, balls do not go anywhere and they get muddy after every shot !

The best course I have played out of season. I'm sure the place is amazing during the winter time. The mango towel was a life saver. Staff was great. 5 star treatment from start to finish

I loved the course but that might just be because I shot my personal low there. That always seems to help! Definitely a balance of holes from easy to quite challenging depending on what tee box you decide to play. The greens rolled very true and were consistent across all 18 which was nice to see. The staff was friendly and the beverage cart was around every other hole to make sure we were stocked with extra ice and whatever else we needed. Water stations were also spaced every third hole so hydration wasn't a problem at all. The GPS on the carts were great and allowed for a better understanding of your layup or tee shot with the use of a touch screen. Sand was consistent and quite manageable assuming you didn’t get to aggressive. Some of the bunkers had steep lips and made for a good penalty. The only knock in my opinion were the last 3 holes. They clearly have had some growth problems in a few areas either around the green or in the fairways which have been resodded. That being said the greens were not affected and frankly it didn't have too much of an impact other than aesthetics.
