About
The Highlands Course is probably the more stimulating of the two tracks at Wildcat GC, offering better views of the city, natural wetlands and grasses, and some intriguing flat sand bunkers. Case must have an affinity for the No. 7, because like the Lakes track, the 421-yard, par 4 hole 7 is the most difficult rated hole. Watch out for the par 5s on this one, three of which play at or above 570 yards from the tips.
Getting there : From downtown take Hwy. 288 south for 5 miles to Loop 610. Head west and find the Fannin exit, where you'll U-turn under 610 and drive east on the access road to Almeda Rd. Turn right on Almeda and the course is 3 miles further.

Great course
Great layout and course is in very good condition. Definitely a step above the other public courses I’m used to playing. in Houston.
Awesome layout of course
The course was in perfect condition, really nice farways and the greens were great to put on.
Lots of elevation changes
I really like this course, lots of elevation changes and that adds to the challenge.Some blind shots that can reward you or penalize you depending on how you play it. On of my favorite courses in the Houston area for sure.
A great course!
Play theHighlands not the Lakes. Felt like the course was challenging enough to enjoy. The pace of play was slow just due to a foursome in front of us, which can happen on any given day. Will certainly be back to visit this course again, I would like to play the Lakes.
Great Condition
Fairways in very good condition. Greens rolling medium speed and true. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

First time out, everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back and knock a few balls into the lake on the other course
Twilight Round greens fee
Big fan of wildcat but the morning greens fees typically drive me to other courses in the Houston area. Played on a Monday at 4:30 and rates were quite reasonable. Course is in great condition, although greens were a little more fuzzy than I’m used to seeing out there.
