Wildcat Golf Club - The Highlands

Never played St. Andrews but reminded me somewhat on my expectation: hilly with blind areas to play, lot of rough 'islands', windy. Greens and fairways in excellent condition (like green carpets) - best course ever played! Even better than Lakes (which is a high recommendation too and different layout). Even with no price deal it is worth it!

$125 and they do not included a single complementary item. The course itself is not in good condition and there are several in the area that give you better value. Also, it took us 5 HOURS to play 17 holes.

I had to pay $250 for myself and my wife to ride and watch. The staff could not have been more disrespectful. I will NEVER go back to this course.

Played course the first time. The course is in perfect condition; greens are like carpets, fairways we’ll prepared- only flipsides are the bunkers are firm and the ball cleaners were empty…. The layout is challenging as there are lot of blind shots and area is hilly-with a strong gusty wind I felt being in St. Andrews… It’s a must course in Houston way different to the lakes course I played before

I played with my best buddies at Wildcat Highlands on a perfect day.

I am an eleven handicap and shot a 91, my worst score in sometime.

There are so many BLIND, unmarked shots and the rough is so unforgiving, that if you would easily lose what you thought was a well hit ball.

I started out with two sleeves of balls and had to rely on a found "Noodle" to finish the round.

The bozos in front of us were hitting off the Blue tees, were horrible, dallied over each shot, and held the whole course up. WHERE ARE YOU MARSHALS WHEN WE NEED YOU.

It was one of my least favorite rounds that I have played in a 60 year love affair with golf.

The staff was very friendly and the burger at the end was delicious, but I will be hard pressed to go back.

I drove in from Austin to play Wildcat with a customer. It had been a while since they played the course, but it was my first time. We both agreed it was in good shape and enjoyed the round. There were nice elevations, the greens were in very good condition, and the pace was just right. I couldn't ask for more, other than free range. I wasn't thrilled that you also had to pay for range balls, but it is what it is. I'll definitely be back to try a round at their other course, the Lakes.

Considering the course conditions , location (Centrally located), these course is tops for the city of Houston. Enough for the veteran, but doable for the beginner. The carts are in great condition and they have a great screen/GPS/multimedia system that helps you out.

They had cart path only which I found a little excessive being how it's fairly high and dry with huge hills but wasn't too bad. I'm all about the greens and they rolled very well and true. It's always nice having undulations throughout. Was worth the golf now special rate, not sure it's worth 100+ level but very nice.

The view of downtown was really nice and I'll be back for sure

The fairways and greens were in great condition. However, there were some unnecessary garbage and debris around the course. That stopped me from giving you a 5!
