About
The Highlands Course is probably the more stimulating of the two tracks at Wildcat GC, offering better views of the city, natural wetlands and grasses, and some intriguing flat sand bunkers. Case must have an affinity for the No. 7, because like the Lakes track, the 421-yard, par 4 hole 7 is the most difficult rated hole. Watch out for the par 5s on this one, three of which play at or above 570 yards from the tips.
Getting there : From downtown take Hwy. 288 south for 5 miles to Loop 610. Head west and find the Fannin exit, where you'll U-turn under 610 and drive east on the access road to Almeda Rd. Turn right on Almeda and the course is 3 miles further.

Nice greens
They had cart path only which I found a little excessive being how it's fairly high and dry with huge hills but wasn't too bad. I'm all about the greens and they rolled very well and true. It's always nice having undulations throughout. Was worth the golf now special rate, not sure it's worth 100+ level but very nice.
The view of downtown was really nice and I'll be back for sure
Interesting track
The fairways and greens were in great condition. However, there were some unnecessary garbage and debris around the course. That stopped me from giving you a 5!
Great day out
Greens were in good condition. Love the layout - interesting and beautiful setting near Houston downtown. Very friendly staff
Great Course
I have played at Wildcat a few times and each time each experience was better than the one before. Beautiful layout but also challenging. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be bac!
Nice track and great greens
Had a nice 4 hour round of stress free golf for our mid-day tee time of 11:30. Nice views were on a bunch of holes and some challenging shots up and down hills. It's a course with a lot of blind shots that would not be hard the 2nd time around. This is a course I would make a regular stop. Before we had a nice early lunch that was tasty and reasonable. There is a second 18 hole course that I understand is nice also. These would make for a great weekend of golf to play both twice.

First timer. Impressed with this course, I regret not playing before there. Definitely will become a regular.
