About
The Highlands Course is probably the more stimulating of the two tracks at Wildcat GC, offering better views of the city, natural wetlands and grasses, and some intriguing flat sand bunkers. Case must have an affinity for the No. 7, because like the Lakes track, the 421-yard, par 4 hole 7 is the most difficult rated hole. Watch out for the par 5s on this one, three of which play at or above 570 yards from the tips.
Getting there : From downtown take Hwy. 288 south for 5 miles to Loop 610. Head west and find the Fannin exit, where you'll U-turn under 610 and drive east on the access road to Almeda Rd. Turn right on Almeda and the course is 3 miles further.

Nice track and great greens
Had a nice 4 hour round of stress free golf for our mid-day tee time of 11:30. Nice views were on a bunch of holes and some challenging shots up and down hills. It's a course with a lot of blind shots that would not be hard the 2nd time around. This is a course I would make a regular stop. Before we had a nice early lunch that was tasty and reasonable. There is a second 18 hole course that I understand is nice also. These would make for a great weekend of golf to play both twice.
Great value, great course
First timer. Impressed with this course, I regret not playing before there. Definitely will become a regular.
Great course
Course in excellent condition, stafff friendly and helpful
Nice course in pretty good condition. Speed of play was slightly slow. But all in all well worth a visit
Challenging Course
The course was very challenging. The Highlands course will make you play your irons and leave your woods in the bag . This was our first visit and on top of that is was very hot. Plenty of water available, but beverage cart was only seen a couple times over 18 holes. Pace of play was somewhat slow and no time could be spared at the turn to enjoy some food or drinks. Will try and go back when temps are cooler and maybe not as busy.
Toooo Quircky
Wildcat has two courses. The lakes course is a really nice course but the Highlands layout is just to weird. Greens where good. Biggest minus is $14 for a bucket of balloon the range that does not even offer grass. Robbery
