About
Architect Roy Case created both courses on this new 36-hole, daily-fee facility that is located only 10 minutes from downtown Houston. In addition to the views of the skyline, Case had at his disposal a touch of Hill Country terrain with dramatic elevation changes, as well as the typical Houston- area prairie lands. From this he was able to carve the links-style Highlands Course and the more traditional Lakes Course.
As its name implies, the Lakes Course, which tips out at a par 72 7,016 yards, is loaded with water. The best hole is the 539-yard No. 7, which is listed as the number one handicap. Interestingly, the four easiest holes are the par 3s, which range from 165 to 218 yards.

This course is beautiful
This golf course is very well maintained, beautiful, a little difficult, but fun.
I Personally, I liked it because there were many lakes.
The fairway and green were excellent.
Love those Lakes
I love the lakes course it make you think about your shots.
Wildcat GC
A top 5 public golf course in Houston. No course in the city, public or private, has the elevation changes of Wildcat. It can be a little tricky if you haven’t played before due to a couple of blind tee shots but great place to play.
Great course!
Was in town for business and was able to squeeze a round in. Staff was super helpful and course was great!

Will play again. challenging layout, course in great condition. Pace of play pretty good, Enjoyed it.
Beautiful course
Played the lakes 2x this weekend on a golf trip. Appreciate the course conditions and the friendliness of staff. Looking foward to go back
Fun Course
The course was wet from the rain but still overall in great shape for how much rain there had been. The course is challenging and there are multiple ways to play many of the holes. Greens were in great shape!
Generally the pace of play is great. There was a group holding up the whole course so it was a little slower than usual.

Lakes course is tough! But fun
We enjoyed our time on the Lakes course. I played the Highland side a few months ago and would recommend mid to high handicap go there but the lakes is good for your straight hitters. Challenging but fun. The pace was okay we had a 2-man team in front of us (4-man team) that was extremely slow and playing on golds while we’re playing blues. I just discount that to poor sportsmanship. Overall love this course.
Love Wildcat
So glad this gem is close to our home in Bellaire. Especially with the new yardage / layout screens added to the golf carts, both courses overall are a great value.
Only wish for improvement :
1. They would install a restroom at the driving range
2. Have a membership program for using the course and range for frequent customers
