About
Architect Roy Case created both courses on this new 36-hole, daily-fee facility that is located only 10 minutes from downtown Houston. In addition to the views of the skyline, Case had at his disposal a touch of Hill Country terrain with dramatic elevation changes, as well as the typical Houston- area prairie lands. From this he was able to carve the links-style Highlands Course and the more traditional Lakes Course.
As its name implies, the Lakes Course, which tips out at a par 72 7,016 yards, is loaded with water. The best hole is the 539-yard No. 7, which is listed as the number one handicap. Interestingly, the four easiest holes are the par 3s, which range from 165 to 218 yards.

Fun Course
The course was wet from the rain but still overall in great shape for how much rain there had been. The course is challenging and there are multiple ways to play many of the holes. Greens were in great shape!
Generally the pace of play is great. There was a group holding up the whole course so it was a little slower than usual.

Great course in the city. Love the lakes course. Great scenery and challenging course.
Lakes course is tough! But fun
We enjoyed our time on the Lakes course. I played the Highland side a few months ago and would recommend mid to high handicap go there but the lakes is good for your straight hitters. Challenging but fun. The pace was okay we had a 2-man team in front of us (4-man team) that was extremely slow and playing on golds while we’re playing blues. I just discount that to poor sportsmanship. Overall love this course.
Love Wildcat
So glad this gem is close to our home in Bellaire. Especially with the new yardage / layout screens added to the golf carts, both courses overall are a great value.
Only wish for improvement :
1. They would install a restroom at the driving range
2. Have a membership program for using the course and range for frequent customers

GolfNow hotdeal tee time booking didn't work
My name is not on the list when arrived Proshop, proshop asked me to follow up with GN. I started chatting by GN chat, provided the confirmation number...etc asked GN for a refund, but so far received nothing.

Unable to play because ProShop said they don't see I am paid, please refund
I booked in the morning when I saw a hot deal, I paid at GolfNow and was due $0 at the course. When I was in Proshop I was told they don't see my name on the sheet. I wasn't able to play as I am unpaid.
I did show the GolfNow confirmation email which shows $0 due but was not accepted. I writing this review to follow up with GolfNow to get my credits back since I was unable to play.

Dam Those Lakes
Really enjoyed getting to play here. We were in the area and found this course on the app. Did not disappoint. John, one of the Marshalls, saw we were waiting for the group infront of us and stopped and talked with us while they were finishing up. He was knowledgable about the course and was a cool guy to talk to while waiting. The driving range has a backdrop of NRG Stadium and the Astro dome! Make sure and bring an extra sleeve with you, the lakes are unforgiving, there are some blind spots to challenge every type of golfer.
