The Eagles Golf Club - Forest
About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

Great Day on the Forest at The Eagles
Had a great afternoon the course was in good condition, they were working one of the greens. I really enjoy playing this course.
Course conditions
I have played this course in the past. This time was the worse I have ever seen the conditions as bad as they were. #3 green was a temp. No advance notice of such. Fairways were a little sparse and the tee boxes were mud. Greens were in good shape. I will wait to see if it has improved before I would play it again.
Tee boxes were rough . However I love golf and I’m not a pro so tee it up and get after it boys
Forest course is outstanding!
We really loved the layout of the forest course, very scenic and challenging, way more holes with water than the lakes course, better condition and much more interesting than the lakes course. Tee boxes were in terrible condition, but fairways and greens were excellent, with the exception of some minor weed patches on a few greens. Bring your A game if you play from blue or black tees. Will be back again.
Other than the dried out tee boxes, course & greens are good.
Outstanding day
I played the forest course and it was in beautiful shape from tee box to greens. The layout is nice with a natural feel with lots of water and trees.
I can’t wait to return
Greens were fast and true
The course was a pleasure to play. Without previous knowledge of the course, made some poor decisions. Would like very much too play it a second time and play it properly. Overall a very good course and well maintained. Would recommend to anyone.
The overall course was in good condition, but the tee boxes were narrow and in severe need of maintenance. We played from the blue tees.
Tee Boxes Need Work
Was very upset to see that the tee boxes were in poor condition. Greens were fantastic but grounds crew forgot about the tees!
Nice layout
The layout of the forest course was good. Conditions of the course were average and the greens were ok.
enjoyed the course
Course was in great condition beyond the tee boxes. Enjoy this course every time I play it, one of my favorites.
Easter Sunday golf
great day to spend on the golf course. Eagles Forest was in great shape considering the lack of rain. Staff was excellante as always. Great value
Great layout and staff!
The team at the Eagles does a really great job maintaining the course. Beautiful layout with strategic holes. A must play in Tampa.
Fastest round ever
This was the first time that we played this course and we were impressed by the course and pace of play.. we played 18 holes in just under 3 hours.. we would definitely encourage others to try this course .
Nice course, and wildlife
Enjoyed a nice day of golfing and course was in good condition. We had a 10:30 tee time and were able to get out 15 minutes earlier as pace of play was excellent and course was not crowded . We played the Forest course and thoroughly enjoyed the layout and the ample amount of wildlife (Gators) along almost every water source each of the 18 holes had near or around it. Also Pelicans, deer, eagles to keep us interested between our golf shots or cart rides between holes. I would definitely recommend this course and hope to return for a round of golf on the Kakes course too!
Good tack, from NewEnglad so we get to play eagles only once a year. Always add this course to our list to play. Never been disappointed, will play again next year
