Seaview - The Bay Course

About
The Bay Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Seaview offers. Designed by famed golf course designer, Donald Ross, it was the first course of the resort and it is also the more famous of the two. Over the years, they made renovations but it was eventually restored to Ross' original links design.
The greens are small and undulating and the Atlantic winds definitely play a huge role in the game. The 2nd hole is the signature hole with a yardage of 432 and a par of 4 that can where the ocean serves as a hazard. Seaview's Bay Course also hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Enjoyable round
Overall glad I played, kind of pricey for what you get. White tees played kind of short was hitting wedges in. You could tell the course gets a lot of play
Early Season
A lot of wind today. Sunny. 60's Greens are still a little rough. Early in the season. But, in general, a wonderful day on the course. Beautiful views. Great staff! Safety conscious. Well organized. Need a little more attention on the cart path conditions. Love the shell pathways. Reminds me of Nantucket driveways... Have a great year! Golf is the last bastion of freedom!
Money
The course itself is in great shape .the staff( Ray) very friendly excellent service. But it seems the company tried to make all its money back in one day. It was very backed up A 20 minute wait on every hole 5 and a half hour round Disappointing day.☹️
Slow Play
5 1/2 hour round and no ranger to move it along. I understand that the greens are difficult but with no trees and little chance of losing a ball, this was way to slow. Greens were just aerated but expected at this time of the season. Fairways were ok and it's interesting to play where the LPGA plays. Al in all I'd prefer the Pines course especially if they cannot speed up play.
Green just aerated but no warning
Hello,
I must say that I am very disappointed with this golf course. When they charge you 100$ for a tee time week day you expect top quality. And that was just sosie. Greens had been aerated so impossible to putt anything. If at least you know ok! But nobody told me. In my country when the greens have been aerated they. Announce it to their customers and they usually give a discount to show their respect to their customers. Respect is part of golf spirit. Obviously they don’t know what it means there.

Great course
This course is awesome. It was my first time playing the Bay course and it really fun. Most holes are straight and pretty wide open, which is good for a beginner like me. The conditions were a little soggy due to recent rain, but it did not really impact much. I would high recommend this course.

The course condition was surprisingly good and the green speed was exceptionally fast. I have never played any courses that has this fast green in winter. The course will not disappoint you.
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
Wow, that is disappointing to hear. They definitely should mention that and give a heads up. Respect from all parties in golf is a must, like you said.
