Seaview - The Bay Course
About
The Bay Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Seaview offers. Designed by famed golf course designer, Donald Ross, it was the first course of the resort and it is also the more famous of the two. Over the years, they made renovations but it was eventually restored to Ross' original links design.
The greens are small and undulating and the Atlantic winds definitely play a huge role in the game. The 2nd hole is the signature hole with a yardage of 432 and a par of 4 that can where the ocean serves as a hazard. Seaview's Bay Course also hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Great view of AC skyline. Photo submitted by Jerryjab on 09/13/2014
Playable Course
The bay course is very playable. Wide fairways allow for some off target drives. There are two or three short par fours, 300 yards or less, and a few longer par fours. Greens are small, quick, and undulating. Not too many flat putts.
Very nice views of Atlantic City skyline since the course backs up to the bay. This also creates some windy conditions.
Very nice course.
Great course
Course is in top condition, unfortunately the weather was cold and windy but overall it was a great round
Nice round for NJ in Feb
Good value and scenery. Challenging putting greens.
Winter Rates, Course on good shape.
Why go to Myrtle Beach when Sea View is open & playable. The Bay Course is in great shape for the time of year.
Member-Lou F Thanks for the great conversation@
Amazing but replacement tees
What an amazing course to play for only $25. On a few of the par 3’s the replacement tees made the holes so short and the replacement tee boxes were just patches of mud and rough.
Oh that Donald Ross
Seaview Bay is a great layout. The fairways were so good that we hardly had to lift clean and place. Putting was challenging, the aeration was still effecting, you know, like a Chinese Checker board. The par 3 tee boxes were closed and the temporary tees diminished the holes. Hey, its mid January, I get it. Always friendly staff, cant wait to return.
Off season outing
This is a great place to play golf. The Bay course is open and forgiving for the amateur golfer yet is challenging. I can see why the LPGA has a tournament here. I was rather upset that the driving range was not open but I understand why. The want to keep the teeing areas in good shape for the prime season. Hint to members and guests, Use the mats!
Seaview Bay Course
The course was in excellent condition as always. Quite challenging. Will definitely play again.
CPO
Played the bay. Not sure it was wet enough for cart path only but it was cart path only. Greens were recently punched. Fast but soft and bumpy. Still don’t understand the CPO, 90 degree would have been much better. Had 2 temporary t boxes on par 3’s. Located very close and in the high rough.
Christmas at Seaview
Lucky to have 57 degree and no wind on Christmas week. Can’t beat that!
Course In fine shape, felt like an October round.
Cart path only this time of year which is eh but too big deal.
We have we December day with NO wind.
Awesome
Always a pleasure
We love playing here but the greens were aerated late in the season and still had the punch holes and sand in them Since we had played there approximately two weeks ago and had the same issue we think they might not recover this season. That being said, it would not keep me away!!!
Fantastic course and great value!
The course was pretty crowded, but the pace of play was very good, and even with a 1:20 start we were able to finish 18 holes(last one was a little tough)! The staff members were great from check in to end of round. The course layout and conditions were excellent, the greens had remnants of the aeration so were a little bumpy, but certainly playable. For the price it can’t be beat!
Great course but bumpy greens
This is a fun and challenging course. The only downside was the bumpy greens due to aeration holes.
