Seaview - The Bay Course
About
The Bay Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Seaview offers. Designed by famed golf course designer, Donald Ross, it was the first course of the resort and it is also the more famous of the two. Over the years, they made renovations but it was eventually restored to Ross' original links design.
The greens are small and undulating and the Atlantic winds definitely play a huge role in the game. The 2nd hole is the signature hole with a yardage of 432 and a par of 4 that can where the ocean serves as a hazard. Seaview's Bay Course also hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Challenging Greens
Course was in pretty good shape for this time of year. Greens had been recently airated making challenging greens even more difficult. Overall a great course and always fun.
Love playing this course! The views are beautiful along the bay and knowing the history of the course makes it even better. The greens were bumpy but it is the end of February so that is understandable. Our 4-some totally enjoyed the day and look forward to returning again and again!
LPGA is very lucky
What a great golf course. Very fair, not very forgiving, rewards good shots. I can see why they hold the Shoprite Classic here
Great Winter Golf
Had a great day on the Bay Course. Cart path only which was no fun. Would recommend walking. The course was in great shape considering the amount of rain received this year. Totally fun day of winter golf
Sea view bay course
Got a great online rate to play a nice day in November. Course was in great shape. Make sure your games somewhat in shape or bring a weedwacker for the fescue or your dead. Play both courses at sea view couple times a season, always nice.
Seaview Bay is a classic
Awesome day. Fantastic course in excellent shape. Wind was up making this short course play anything but. Lots of tall fescue to penalize poor shots. If you don’t like the bay course, you don’t like golf.
Always Awesome
Sadly rain ended our round after 13 holes but the Troon fellas in the pro shop took care of us as always.
Played last Wednesday in perfect conditions and had lowest score ever. Brutal today with wind. Exactly the way Donald Ross pictured the course to play. Short but necessary when the wind blows. Imaginative bunker placement. You will loose your ball in the deep fescue. Consider it a water hazard.
Love the course, staff...everything about the place but price. I understand they have to make a profit so it’s consider a treat a few times a season.
Seas side links in NJ
Mr Ross created a beautiful links course on NJ marsh land. Fescue everywhere on chocolate-drop mounding and undulating, partitioned greens define this layout. Deviations from the original vision is evident to fit American tastes, such as abundant watering to keep everything green. Instead of firm ground you have a squishy set-up. The wind and the fescue is the main defense for this track, not length. Over all very enjoyable.
First class treatment
From arrival to departure here you are made to feel like a member of a private club.
With all of the rain in the past week we were restricted to the cart path and there was a fair amount of standing water on the course and in the bunkers. Greens were also long and thus very slow. Not the best conditions to play but still fun.
You don’t have to be long here but you have to be accurate. Fairways are generally narrow and greens are not overly large.
Looking forward to a return trip in August when it’s dry and the greens are fast.
Green is so slower then other courses and so many bug bites.
Don't let...
...the yardage fool you. This is not an easy course. The Donald Ross greens are a challenge. Looking forward to the LPGA playing here in a few weeks
Foursome all from golf now
