Seaview - The Pines Course
About
The lesser known of the two 18-hole courses at the Seaview is the Pines Course. It originally started as a nine-hole course but another nine-hole course was added later and the two courses were eventually combined to form the Pines Course. The course has a par of 71 and it is 6,731 yards from the back tees.
Seaview's Pine Course doesn't provide scenic views but it does offer a good game. Some even prefer the Pines course because of its quiet location behind the resort's hotel and also because of its more challenging features. The golf course has tight fairways lined with trees, medium-sized greens that are undulating, and strategically placed bunkers.

Grand old course
Great layout with plenty of history going back a century +. Unfortunately, the place is overrun with crab grass and Troon management is not doing a great job with the course's conditions. The greens were in decent shape but fairly slow. Definitely worth playing if they would address the invasive grass problems.
Seaview pines
Nice course, good conditions, challenging but fair
Enjoyable day
Played in early afternoon for reduced rate. Conditions of greens and fairways were excellent
Seaview Pines
Good course, tight fairways, through mature trees.
Nice location, friendly staff, look forward to playing it again.
Nice mature course well laid out.
Enjoyed my round. Unfortunately the course had 2 inches of rain overnight and it was cartpath only. Being Monday it was not busy and there was no pressure to keep a pace. All in all a good day. If I had a choice I would play the Bay course as it is more scenic with lots of water views.
Poor Condition
The Pines course is a very good test of golf but the maintenance of the course is extremely poor, there are a lot of bald spots amongst the thick rough particularly around the green which makes chipping very difficult, there is very little sand in the bunkers (sometimes you can see the mesh below the surface of the sand), tee boxes are in very poor condition. This course could be so much better with a little more effort from the maintenance staff. A terrific golf course but these issues need addressed particularly with the price of the green fees.
Great layout
A wonderful golf course layout. The course is tight and as the name implies it is lined with pines. This makes for a tight course but also adds to the courses beauty. Be smart use the 3 wood more than the driver.
Great fast greens.
Would highly recommend this course.
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed your round. See you soon! #SEAtheVIEW
Slow Play!
We were held up by an outing by 40 minutes!!!!
Could have let us know when we checked in. Because of the late start----we ONLY PLAYED 16 HOLES because of dark! Pro shop---POOR PLANNING BY PRO SKOP!
The course was not as nice as the Bay course.
Need to mark the routes to next hole either by signs or painting directions on the cart path. !
The golf course was average with fast greens until the sun went down and the moisture got into the greens.
Very nice layout
The layout rewards you for hitting to the correct spots, if you're on the wrong part of the fairway you won't have a clean look at the greens. A few of the tee boxes were beat up. The greens are in good shape but were slow when we played.
Value for your money
Some Fairway and tee box is burnout because the weather I guessed but the green was superb and roll nicely I would comeback and playi it again ... Also will try to play the bay course as well
Challenging course
You have to be fairly accurate from tee to green. The rough is up a bit so you want to stay out of it. The greens are no piece of cake. The bunkers are of a heavy sand
Sea View Pines
Great Course Nice people.
Good Pace

I just played there and while there was crabgrass I think your "overrun" adjective is a dramatization.
