I’ll start with a positive, I noticed a negative review regarding the pro, my experience with the pro shop was very positive, dropping in for an opportunistic game on the way back home, he was very helpful even giving us a small discount off the green fee.

Personally, I found the course very bland (sure the 6th is very dramatic) but there was simply way too much of adjacent holes merging thus giving no sense of shape or character. The 11th is a simply terrible hole essentially straight up a very steep hill. The 13th is a very dangerous hole because it’s very easy to hit a ball at the 15th green which is out of view over the hill. The fairway bunkers are just scrapes in the ground and don’t define the majority of the holes.

The setting is promising and dramatic suggesting a fine fescue sandy links but the reality is a modern clay based hard pan course.

The final straw was we had lunch and we refused to pay for the chicken dish served, as it was burnt to a crisp.

Definitely doesn’t get a recommendation from me.

The greens were amazing and the views were stunning the 6 hole is unbelievable 1st class golf course

Enjoyed great weather helped as I can imagine in the wind would be tough going, very open for the driver but lots of stuff the organise on course

Excellent return visit to Eyemouth GC. The course is in fantastic condition. Greens running quick abd true and the views from the course are stunning. Great course and one I would thoroughly recommend and hope to play here again very soon. If I stayed a little closer I'd apply for Country membership. It's that good.

We got off to a terrible start, man in shop was very rude and started off by saying never ever book through GolfNow again - always phone the club first “we get nothing from GolfNow”.

He then said score cards are at the door !!! No politeness / no have you travelled far / no first hole is a bit of a walk away - he lost interest in us after we booked through GolfNow !!!

Course was amazing and everyone we spoke to was super nice and helpful.

Real shame chap in shop no manners !!

Eyemouth is a lovely course with some stunning holes, namely the Par 3 6th and the monster par 5 13th. Greens were in great condition.

Rattled through the first 9 as a single player, but a slow 2 ball jumped onto 10 just ahead of me, and then caught up with a 5 ball (yes a 5 ball) around 15 which slowed me down a bit. That said I thoroughly enjoyed the course with stunning sea views and will be back to play again.

Pro was very friendly upon greeting and had some lovely food afterwards in the restaurant.

Course was really good very much enjoyed it, pace of play was perfect wasn’t stuck behind anyone, greens in really nice condition and the views from the front nine were spectacular

We played with a cople of friends. I played it before, but a long time ago. Remenbered it es a nice course. But it was even better.

Fantastic experience, with a cart a must due to our age and the inclines on some of the back 9. Highly recommend you play this course at least once in you'll life. Hole 6 is over the bay and a wonderful looking hole. There is a monster whole nearly 600yds with water in front of the green. Some lovely par 3s with water and bunkers.

Fantastic course with amazing views! This course did not disappoint, little bit of waiting about at tee boxes but didn't disrupt the flow, the 6th hole tee shot was the highlight of the round. Nice variety of hole layouts that make you question if you want to stay safe or take the risk and try to cut the corner. Will most definitely be back, worth every penny.

This is a superb golf course. Pro shop staff excellent. The course condition was great. Some great holes and unbelievable scenery. Highly recommended and great value. The 6th hole is brilliant and the 13th is long!!! Driver and driver for your second shot in my opinion.
