About
This is a visually pleasing undulating links course with a long beach on one side. Measuring 6,219 yards from the tips, Spey Bay Golf Club is a par 70.
Gorse and heather line the fairways here, and the beach creates a natural border on some holes - though it won't come into play unless you're completely wild off the tee.
No. 8 is Spey Bay Golf Club's signature hole. The small green sits atop a hillock, so you better be accurate or risk seeing your ball go tumbling down. This pretty much goes for all the holes at Spey Bay, which requires a thoughtful shot off the tee and a light touch around the greens.

Enjoyable afternoon
The course is in decent condition and a real challenge for any standard of golfer. All the holes are interesting, none of the holes are easy. I played like a dog but with the fantastic weather, brilliant views and the interesting lay out I will definitely be back.
Fairways were tight but greens were true.
Definitely advise a visit.
Spey Bay May 2021
Lovely links course well worth the visit for anyone in Moray. The course is fairly forgiving with fairways that channel balls back in however the odd bad bounce could result in some interesting shots before you. Go even more errant and the whins or even the beach could be waiting for you. We had a lovely sunny day and it felt challenging, could be even more fun with a stronger wind!
Fan of everything Moray
We played it early May, and I thought the layout and selection of holes were excellent, the greens had been hollowtined, and dressed with sand, I would imagine the greens will be running true later in the summer, unfortunately for us the greens were very bumpy, and not running true!! It won’t stop me coming back a bit later in the year.

Great course, managed to catch a day where there was no wind at all and made the links course amazing to play on.

Nice course in beautiful setting right on the shoreline, greens had been hollow cored and nobody informed us so only downside but overhaul nice course.Tight for the wayward golfer.
perfect day
perfect day and perfect golf could only have been improved by better greens, but the work has to be done. 3 birdies and a near hole in one !

I have my played most courses in the area and this on is a real hidden gem. The course is great, the views stunning I would recommend all golfers to play this course.
