Burntisland Golf House Club

About
Burntisland Golf House Club in Fife, Scotland, is an 18-hole golf course designed by architect Willie Park Jun. It's best described as having a parkland nature, although some holes have a links-type turf to hit off. The course is just under 6,000 yards and has a diversity of terrain.
The fun starts with three par 3s in the first six holes, but birdie opportunities abound. There's only one par 4 over 400 yards, for instance, so good length off the tee and control of mid-irons can lead to that elusive below-par score. The two par 5s are also tamable: No. 2 has a tricky two-tier green that's narrow from front to back, but 12 is much less challenging for the low-handicap golfer.
Throughout the golf course, however, control is key. Out of bounds lies to the left of the first four holes and the 18th, and to the right of nine and 10. You face a pond to the right on five, and you have to maneuver past a quarry on 12. Beyond that, the course throws up its share of trees, gorse and rough all over.
When you finish the course, check out the clubhouse, which offers a bar/lounge/dining area. The bar's open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. in the summer.

Course also has some great views
Burntisland Golf Course
Burntisland is a great course , with tradition and idyllic views , it really is something everyone must try. The course is in excellent condition, Greens immaculate and fairways are all lined , so looks fantastic. Warm welcome from the pro shop, and everyone I met on course were chatty and friendly.
Superb
Great value for money, course condition is kept to a very high standard, especially in this warm dry spell, a few hilly parts, but good test
A good day with the course in great condition
This is a very friendly course to play but it has a few quirky holes to navigate. It was a bit slow for us as we got stuck behind a slow 4 ball that were looking for balls on every other hole.
The course was in great condition and putting can be a challenge if you get on the wrong side of the greens. The views are amazing,
Beautiful course

Burntisland GC
A lovely layout with a variety of golf holes keeps you concentrated till the end!
Fairways were lush and greens smooth!
Hilly in places but worth it for the stunning panorama!
Excellent
Beautiful course in excellent condition some quite tricky nlind holes if not played before
Quirky
As you travel through Fife on your pilgrimage to worship at the Home of Golf stop off at Burntisland Golf Club and discover a golfing gem. Spoke with a guy the day after I played (twice this week) and he used the word I had previously used to descried the course to another person ‘Quirky’, first time I have played a blind par3. Great layout (quite hilly) and the condition of the course was very good, especially the greens, the tees could use some TLC but this did not detract from the pleasure of playing the course, all the staff were very pleasant and I will be going back a couple of times throughout the summer. I played a couple of big name courses at St. Andrews that week but they did not match the condition of Burntisland.
