About
Dunnikier Park Golf Club is an 18-hole course located in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, 30 miles north of Edinburgh and 20 miles south of St. Andrews. Formed in 1963, the golf course has evolved over the years.
Dunnikier is 6,546 yards with a par of 72. The Lomond Hills serve as a backdrop on several holes, providing a stunning view. The front nine is in secluded woodland, while the back nine gets you out into civilization.
Dunnikier Park Golf Club's signature hole is No. 7, called "The Dip," a 368-yard par 4. The fairway disappears into a dip and then rises to the green. It's not just challenging, it's the best looking hole, too. It doesn't get much easier on No. 8, named "The Deception." The 383-yard par 4 is uphill all the way. Avoid the fairway bunkers with your drive then carry over the bunkers protecting the green.
No. 9 and 12 are two of the four par 5s and the two longest holes. Nine is 547 yards. Hit just an average tee shot, and you are in good position for a second shot over the hill. Twelve is monstrous at 597 yards. If you play off the "Tiger Tee," it's a ridiculous 650-yard hole. Make sure you hit if long, though. If your drive is short, you might not even make it to the ladies tee, the hole is THAT long.
A major extension and refurbishment was carried out to the clubhouse in 2001. It was upgraded to modern standards. New locker rooms and visitor changing facilities were added. The main lounge can seat over 100 guests, and dress is casual except for Saturday nights when there is a strict dress code after 8 p.m.
Kirkcaldy is one of the largest towns in Fife and has a history of tourism. Visitors are always welcomed at the club.

A good track that could be great!
Played on Friday 28th May, first time playing in the summer. Course was in good condition despite what has been a challenging spring. The tees, fairways and greens were good just needing another week of good weather.
I think this layout has potential though, continued investment in drainage and green keeping equipment could see this course become a real gem.
Good overall course
Course was decent considering the poor start to the year weather wise. Greens a little bumpy and uneven but overall course is in decent condition. Well worth the £15 on golf now.
Winter Greens !!
first 9 was great.
No one said it was winter greens on back 9.
Drove the 10th over the hill (blind)
Got to the top of the hill to realise we had both out drove the winter green by 100 yards!
Not good.
Green conditions looked great but were closed.
Ruined the round to be honest
Good course, but really disappointed today
Winter course
Turned up at the course today but nobody told it was a full winter course, tees, and greens only found out after the first hole on meeting someone else who wasn't a member and had paid the full fee's, not impressed, not a single member on the course it should have been closed as standing water everywhere and some holes were unplayable, so we walked off after 9 they could have phoned us to tell us, we would have changed the day
Excellent day out
Course was in excellent condition. Greens had been cored in areas but not around the pins which was really good. Joining next year
Day away
Another good days golf spoiled by the group in front of us not fixing any pitch marks or attempting to smooth bunkers as it was damp the pitch marks were huge had a ward with them after the round to be told if you don't like it why don't you p ss if back to your own club won't be back as we left before it started to get ugly in the car park so no chance to try the clubhouse

Really enjoyed the course great layout and the greens were running fantastic over all very impressed
Course is looking good and for a duff golfer like me offers challenges and rewards for the odd good shot I hit !
Don’t make a tee time right behind the senior men
When I made my tee time, I was not informed that I was following a tournament of Senior Men. So from now on, I will do my homework. I love playing this course, but I didn’t love that it took me 4 hours to get around the course.
Great day of Golf
Had a great day of golf. Greens in great condition even with all the dry weather. Will definitely play here again.
Excellent Course
Course was in very good condition. Greens excellent although could have been a bit faster. Fairways very lush and excellent to hit from. Superb value for money.
