Bunkers, fairways, tee boxes , cart path needs major work. Greens are looking better though!

Greens are in good shape… tee box,fairways, bunkers needs major improvements.

Pace was great staff was awesome. But very disappointed in sand traps. Sand was more like dirt. Also the rough was very long right next to fairways. Couldn't even find balls well hit just steps from fairway.

Tee boxes could be in better shape.

Pace of play pretty slow.

I enjoyed the course. Staff was great, pace was fair. However, much debris all over the course.

Desperately needs landscaping maintenance. Fairways, tee boxes, rough are neglected.

Course is in desperate need of a groundskeepeer and maintenance staff that care! This was a beautiful landscape that has fallen on hard times as can be seen by the tangled underbrush, fallen tree limbs, dirt patches throughout an overgrown rough and concrete bunkers/traps.

Greens need rolling and aprons around the greens are overgrown and almost unplayable. Twice my group approached holes that had the tee flags removed and discarded from the greens? OK, so ahead of us was an outing of young alcoholics but that's no excuse for irresponsible lack of rangers.

I won’t play this course again. It’s too expensive for the poor conditions

While the greens have improved from my last visit, the idea that this course could be considered ‘maintained’ is laughable. Todays trip was an attempt to see if my early season impressions of greens keeping ignorance were premature, The course conditions simply confirmed my earlier conclusions. EVERY sand trap on the entire course has been IGNORED for well over two years (including the holes around the clubhouse showing that even a good first impression is irrelevant to the staff), bushes and shrubs are growing in place of what should be well raked traps, and tee rotation is utterly ignored producing massive bald spots, It is as though the course management is purposely trying to reduce the value of the historic property. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Marine Park (*****) is only 10 minutes away, and a fraction of the cost.

Course is not maintained at all. Tee boxes are hard and bare. Bunkers are like cement with more rocks than a prison yard. Greens are OK but very slow. Won’t play here again many other courses available for the same price and in superior shape.
