Designed by Robin Nelson, The Dunes at Maui Lani is immaculately maintained and brilliantly laid out. It is a tribute to the great links courses of Ireland that more than one golf writer has described as a "British Open course on Maui." Stunning dunes dot the terrain at every corner, challenging the golfer at every hole.

In addition to 18 holes of championship golf, The Dunes offers the only lighted practice range in central Maui, with grass tees, fairway and green-side bunkers and a pitching and putting green, plus an air-conditioned pavilion. Also, when not on the golf course, golfers can enjoy a four-star meal at Cafe O'Lei at The Dunes.

Good value

Played the plantation course the day before and you can’t compare to that course but for the price this is a fun course and greens were in good shape. Kapalua Plantation was in the best shape that I have seen and greens on a different level. I would still recommend playing this course

Challenging cause in very good condition

I really enjoyed playing here.， Interesting course layout， Very good course condition.。 The only thing I don't like is the golf cart - It gas powered and there's a delay to restart the engine. If you are on uphill, it will roll back a little bit before the engine starts, then moving forward.

Interesting course.

Good course with some interesting holes. If you’re from out of town don’t use the golfpass link with Apple Maps as it took me to a residential area and told me to park and walk to the course. Course is by a major roadway so how Apple Maps couldn’t find it is unbelievable. Apple Intelligence?

If you’re looking for a fun, challenging, well maintained golf experience. This is the place. To top it off, the staff was welcoming and kind. The gentleman at the front desk was the homie. Shoulda got his name because he deserves the recognition. Thank you to The Dunes @ Maui Lani for a great day on the course. I will be back!

Greens are pristine

The course was in fantastic shape. The greens were absolutely perfect condition. Very well taken care of. The front 9 is more open and the back 9 is more blond shots. The course overall is a great mix. Challenging for better golfers and not extreme for newer golfers. The views were great.

Marshall’s are lazy and course layout is awful

Don’t play this course. Pay the same rate and go to Ka’anapali instead. Not worth the drive and/or effort.
