About
The Strathmore Golf Centre's Rannaleroch Course, designed by John Salvesen and opened in 1996, has already been described as a classic. The generous greens are great targets, but their undulations make for an unexpected challenge.
The four par 3s each present an individual challenge, ranging from 122 to 224 yards, while the fifth, a challenging par-5 hole, requires a 160-yard carry over water from the white tees. The-par-72 course measures 6,454 yards.
Strathmore has something for everyone, including the 18-hole Rannaleroch Course and the nine-hole Leitfie Links, a 10-bay covered golf range and a golf academy.

Nice features, good condition.
First time playing here and would go back.
Nice easy walk some tricky holes, some with water features others with out of bounds.
It would not be difficult to rack up a poor score.
Fairways were pretty good. Tee banks could be better.
Greens ran nice and true.
Relaxing Game
Nice layout, pretty generous fairways, a beautiful display of rhododendrons camellias, magnolias on display in May,, reasonably priced with a good menue
Great all round experience
We arrived and the young man in the pro shop was extremely friendly and helpful. We have played here some years ago and remembered their excellent carvery we had . So we booked a table for when we came in. We are a very varied group of golfing abilities Handicap 9/11/37/46. We all had a very positive experience. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were in good condition especially for the time of year. The pace of play was good and everything kept moving. We were all entering cards so were putting out. One of us received a handicap cut with a loss of 2.4 so excellent result! We came in to a very welcoming club house and waiting staff. They did not rush us to order they were very patient whilst we sorted our cards out and had a drink. We all had the carvery which was excellent. The whole experience of h=going to Strathmore Golf club was superb we will be returning!

Worth a visit when on full greens , standard of course is of a very good standard .

Played this week , given the weather the previous day the course was excellent throughout . Very good experience and will be back .
Open course in good condition
Straight forward course which is well maintained. Members and staff members very friendly and good facilities all round .

Friendly staff & Great food
Course fairways were mint , unfortunately there was a lot of sand on the greens ; which stopped me marking it higher ; however this did not spoil the day ; great value for money ; very friendly staff in the clubhouse and the food was superb ; very enjoyable day 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed my 18 holes on the Rannaleroch course, Strathmore Golf Centre. The course was in excellent condition with several interesting holes. The location was outstanding with beautiful peaceful rolling scenery. A first class day out.

Brilliantly well kept course with very forgiving rough and world class greens
Ok parkland
Great location. Pretty views. Never been on a golf course with no tee markers before. We started on 10th by accident. Shop person gave no advice and no directions. Card map not lot of help and there is literally nothing to tell you what tee you are on.
After a period of sun had been heavy rain previous day. Fairways were bit patchy and some bunkers contained major pools of water. Greens generally in good condition with many challenging contours.
Cracking course
Played while on holiday with my son we really liked the course. Bit tricky too find satnav needed. Very help staff and local members who helped with course layout..
Course was in very good condition considering how dry it has been greens excellent in great Nick.
Hidden gem
