About
Known locally as "Carmuirs," Falkirk Golf Club is a parkland layout with slight undulation. It's a 6,230-yard par-71 course from the back tees.
Falkirk will undergo a significant renovation in the coming years. David J. Russell, a PGA Professional and golf course architect, has made several recommendations on improving the layout that will be incorporated into the course.
New practice facilities have also been added: four practice bays, a practice putting green and "short game" area for pitching and bunker play. A fully-stocked pro shop is on site, managed by resident professional Stewart Craig.

Great Layout
A right mix of holes, some easy some challenging but all different
Enjoyable round
First time playing this course. Tee off was booked for mid morning, however I contacted the course and found a very friendly member of staff was able to accommodate me earlier. On arrival I was welcomed by the aforementioned staff in the pro shop who again was very helpful and gave me a thorough briefing if the layout which was required. The course was in great condition and I was playing during downpours. A great mixture of holes and greens in great shape. If in Central Scotland, definitely give this a go. You won't be disappointed.
A Hidden Gem.
Very friendly staff.
Played mid afternoon so course was not to busy.
Excellent layout good variety of holes,have to be accurate of the tee to score well.
Back nine more varied and a bit more demanding,excellent greens the best I have played on this year. Full Mark's to the green keeping staff for the condition of the course.
Would recommend to friends and play again with pleasure.

The course has really good verity of holes nice view of the Falkirk wheele as you tee off the 10 th the greens are magic and fast the now all in magic course the play

Course in good condition despite recent hot weather.Greens very good and all had been watered.

Amazing greens
Fantastic golf course amazing greens that are so smooth and fast some beautiful holes and special thank you to the lady in the pro shop who let me play in front of a four ball definitely be back best greens I’ve played on for a very long time and value for money

Got a game here at last! :)
Was to have played the course a few times in the past, thankfully got a nice day for an enjoyable round. Really liked the layout, some nice holes, mixing doglegs, tough straight holes, and enough undulations to test your game. Tee boxes need a bit of investment to level them out and improve the grass, fairways in good condition considering low lying nature of the course, some good, well placed water hazards add to the asthetics and difficulty. Greens in good condition though a little slow causing a few weird breaks (not my putting, I swear!). Friendly and helpful pro-shop staff and bar staff. Only downside really, is a pet peeve of mine. Don't have different pars!!! Par 71 off white, and par 69 of yellow - For the sake of a few yards. Ridiculous!

brilliant round played on a Saturday in between the club meadows and have to say the members were very friendly.course has lots of tricky holes and was a real challenge.will go back
Warm friendly welcome, course dry and in good shape considering the winter, greens could have had a cut !

Played this course 3 times in the last year the last time was Sunday considering the amount of rain we've had over the last few months I was surprised at the condition the course was in enjoyed my day
Autumn golf
Considering it had rained for most of the week the course was pretty dry the drainage work in the last few years has made a terrific difference to the course , once I wouldn’t have dreamed playing here after rain but will definitely be back now can’t recommend highly enough

first visit
friendly welcome at the shop and some info on the course conditions, very good selection of holes and real easy to find your way around the course . thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will certainly play here again. we never used the bar facilities here so can't comment on them, however the car park was full so they must be a popular catering place, I would highly recommend playing this course, good tough test but, very enjoyable.
