Riverside Golf Course
About
Riverside Golf Course is located on the northwest side of Janesville near the Rock River. Opened in 1924, it is one of the oldest courses in the area and over the years it has earned the reputation of being one of southern Wisconsin's best public courses. The course has also been recognized as one of the 50 best public golf values in the country. The gently rolling hills of the landscape provide the course with rolling, tree-lined fairways and large, undulating greens, which are framed by strategically placed bunkers. Riverside is a challenging course but not so difficult that beginners should be intimidated. The classic layout is quite forgiving and versatile enough for a range of skill levels, one reason why it is the host to the Ray Fischer Tournament, one of the Midwest's most prestigious amateur events.

1 Week Left To Play
Course has it's challenges. It's well taken care of, and it is in great shape for the end of the season.
Like I remembered
Hadn't played here in decades. This is the course I started playing on as a kid. Very little has changed and that is a really good thing! Fiance just started playing and she loved this course.
Afternoon of golf
I like playing this course the only thing I can say bad about playing on that day was I was playing on the sixteenth hole when just after hitting my shot I seen a person playing the second hole ran over a stolen my golf ball out of the fairway
Wow
So this course is beautiful and has some challenges and overall it’s a great great course. The trees are huge and old like hundreds years old, so you know how great this is. Only downfall is it pro shop building is old it will do but it’s old besides that if you take a pro shop from the Twin Cities and mix it with this course, you’re looking at a $200 a round course.
Riverside
Course is in excellent shape. Pace of play was fairly slow finishing in four hours.
