Would recommend the course to anyone of all levels, some brilliant holes on the course. 11th and 12th always standout from recent experiences but many more good holes on the course

Superb course, worth every penny.

Was a big hold up but was a very random warm day and alot of people out so very understandable.

Would highly recommend playing the course.

I learned to play golf with my grandfather on this course in the 1980’s and it was always my intention to go back and play at some point. Well, today was the day and it was pretty much exactly as I had remembered apart from the layout to holes 4 and 5.

The course was in excellent condition, with fairway freshly cut and very good consistent greens. The fabulous 11th and 12th holes in the valley will always be special for me and didn’t disappoint but there are many other holes that are good especially the tree lined par 3’s.

I’m so glad to have returned and I will definitely not be leaving it nearly 30 years until I play it again

Looking to join a club nearby and would very much consider this course. A lot of character to the course with various styles of holes. I would definitely play this course again and will be seriously considering taking up my membership there.

Conditions were terrible, seems to be poor drainage. Had to play from the rough in March, which is never fun. Course was extremely boggy, needed Wellington boots for a lot of it.

You have to share a fairway, and have to double back on yourself to come off the 10th even with people playing that hole at that time. Greens were excellent, but sodden which was a shame. Still some winter greens in play.

Overall, would not come back I’m afraid. Could be better in the summer.

Course in good condition ,greens and fairways exceptional, remains untidy around GUR areas which need removed to ensure integrity of competition golf.An enjoyable visit hopefully green staff and committee continue to make tidy up procedures

Haven't played the course since last year,I would say great effort has been made to improve playability of Carluke ,it is certainly more pleasing on the eye to this time last year.I congratulate committee and greenkeeper for this.However attention still has to be paid to GUR areas where in many areas should be removed,tidy up around golf practice nets which are covered in weeds.The club invested in a short game practice area access to this area needs improved and if you were a visitor you woudnt know it was there ,this is a shame as it would enhance visitor experience at Carluke.

These are minor issue s which would easily be dealt with.

Overall a nice visit and I would be very happy to return to Carluke.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing round this course & for this time of year the course was in great condition, will definetly be back to play again in the summer months. Great food & very friendly staff & members, would recommend.

Hole in one at the 11th :) smashing course and actually better than I expected

This course has some very 'interesting' holes on the back nine, after a relatively straightforward front. It's rolling, slopey and quirky. Conditions of fairways and greens were not tiptop, but they were playable and acceptable. Upland-parkland would be about right.

This was a new course to me and I despite wet underfoot conditions I thoroughly enjoyed my round. The welcome at the Pro shop was good, and the catering staff were very pleasant, with good and very reasonable fare. The course is an interesting design and challenging with a very interesting 11 th and 12th holes . The course demands all the clubs in the bag, though fairways are side and generous. Best of all were the members, a Ladies 4 ball invited us through to ensure a swift round and we were made welcome back in the clubhouse. Overall a splendid days golf and a very enjoyable course.

For the amount of rain that's fallen over the past few days the course was still in great shape loved playing the par 3s good challenge for everyone especially the elevated one could just play that hole all day would recommend this course to anyone

Was a very nice course, very open to play but challenging enough. The greens were very quick and the overall course condition was great. Staff and other golfers were friendly, would recommend going for a round.
