Shotts Golf Club

Unfortunately didn't have the weather on side today but can tell the course was in good shape. Each hole had a good level of difficulty and was also very well mapped out considering it was my first time playing. I read previously that the greens had issues with disease a few months ago but it's definitely been cleared up and credit to the greenkeepers for making them playable even through questionable weather. I will definitely be back to play again on a better day.

Played today with 3 of my mates.Honestly loved the layout of the course.Laid out well and some amazing views too.Greens in amazing condition and fast.All 4 of agreed we will be back soon.

My son and I played Shotts GC two days in a row, Tree-lined fairways but wasted no time looking for balls, all the rough was kept down which meant we made great time playing. The fairways are so lush and gorgeous to hit off so take time to set up and hit the shirt stuff. There are a few blind holes so highly recommend playing twice otherwise you could feel the course has defeated you but it’s way more enjoyable the second round. Could easily play two rounds in a day.

Definitely returning - maybe tomorrow!

Booked hald 6 on Monday night. Arrived around 5.45 to find everything was closed. No access to score cards or shops etc. Couple of groups turned up and played before us that hadn't paid on. The course itself was very good.

Really nice course and gd facilities staff very friendly and helpful.This is our second time playing and notice was in need of abit of tlc. Most bins full if no bins lots of rubbish lying about the tee areas needs look at also divets on many fairways either not fixed and in need off sorting. Apart from that if this gets sorted will defo come back or slight improvement still come back really nice course just needs theses tiny issues sorted

All was just perfect, a great round in perfect condition. I have played this course on a number of occasions over the years, including Opens and this was the best condition I have seen at Shotts. I certainly hope to return, well done all at SGC.

Very friendly course, Kate in the pro shop was very helpful and we spoke to a few members who were really nice too. I’ll definitely play again and my playing partner is considering a membership.

Course is well looked after, sadly had recent issues with greens which was out of clubs control, done an excellent job restoring them sadly just slightly sandy and not playing to full potential. Staff were really friendly and pro shop full to the brim, very good amenities also, would highly recommend and will be back

The layout of this course is great and very enjoyable with every hole being unique. The greens are now in fantastic condition. I will definetely be back, value for money is top drawer.

Greens were in very poor condition for the time of year
