Drumpellier Golf Club

About
Located just east of Glasgow, Drumpellier Golf Club sits at the west end of Coatbridge. Since opening in 1894, it has become one of the area's most treasured courses. The layout is challenging but it's still player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The golf course's has a memorable finish, ending on two of its best holes. The par-4 17th is just 270 yards, giving big hitters the opportunity for a grand finish by reaching the green from the tee. Those who don't want to take the risk can play it safe and aim for the fairway. Drumpellier Golf Club's final hole, another par 4, tumbles downhill across slopes ranging from subtle to dramatic. Be careful of running out of the fairway or you'll face an even tougher approach to the well bunkered green.

Drumpellier
It a lovely course and it played really well in the blazing sunlight. Course was well maintained and staff were polite and welcoming. A great day out.
A tough but fair track.
The course is a good layout in excellent condition
Many great holes test the best players to the limit.
Would not hesitate in recommending the course to anyone.
Good course spoiled
Played this course a few years back and it was in much better condition back then.
Played many of the local course which are in better condition and half the price.
Pace of play was super slow, ladies medal on so no problem with that however other members jumped in behind us on for the last 3 holes and were hitting shots within close proximity. Really not enjoyable
Overall nice course with potential but too pricey and members let it down on this occasion.
Great Course.
Had an excellent time at DRUMPELLIER. Would highly recommend it.
Immaculate
Friendly members on arrival with plenty of advice on best approach to the course. Greens in fantastic conditon and fairways just as good. Would visit again in a hearbeat. Fantastic course with some great challenging holes.
Great condition
1st time playing Drumpellier and wasn’t disappointed. Really liked the layout and the course was in great condition. While playing we seen lots of greenkeeper activity, but they were never in the way. I’d definitely play again
Good greens
Course layout was enjoyable and although it was busy, play moved at decent pace. Greens were in very good condition and were faster than any other course I have played this year. Was also invited to join up round with two members who were good company and helpful in explaining course layout!
Excellent
Very impressed with the condition and course in general. A touch longer than I’m used to but still very manageable. Greens were immaculate.
The pro shop were very accommodating when one of our party’got delayed by traffic no fuss made but appreciated the help getting a game
Could be good
Has clearly been good course - not sure why some greens were being worked on at this time of year and 4 groups covering one hole just not acceptable !
A Tad Moist
Despite the inclement weather the course held up well. First time playing this course in an unexpected location. Fairways were well kept and all told the greens were in good condition for the time of year. Happily play Drumpelier again in the spring.
Winter golf
Great day for playing golf weather was good course was in good condition for time of year , although a few winter greens on and nothing mentioned from starter apart from that great day had by all would recommend this course.
