Drumpellier Golf Club
About
Located just east of Glasgow, Drumpellier Golf Club sits at the west end of Coatbridge. Since opening in 1894, it has become one of the area's most treasured courses. The layout is challenging but it's still player friendly enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The golf course's has a memorable finish, ending on two of its best holes. The par-4 17th is just 270 yards, giving big hitters the opportunity for a grand finish by reaching the green from the tee. Those who don't want to take the risk can play it safe and aim for the fairway. Drumpellier Golf Club's final hole, another par 4, tumbles downhill across slopes ranging from subtle to dramatic. Be careful of running out of the fairway or you'll face an even tougher approach to the well bunkered green.

A Tad Moist
Despite the inclement weather the course held up well. First time playing this course in an unexpected location. Fairways were well kept and all told the greens were in good condition for the time of year. Happily play Drumpelier again in the spring.
Winter golf
Great day for playing golf weather was good course was in good condition for time of year , although a few winter greens on and nothing mentioned from starter apart from that great day had by all would recommend this course.
Moist underfoot
Nice course, good value for money. A moist Autumnal round but some really nice holes. The par 3s in particular are really well kept and the greens despite being wet were in great condition. All in all a very enjoyable round.
Drumpellier golf club
Great course, excellent condition and probably the toughest greens I've played, quick and fairly hard to read but a great challenge for anyone interested
Wetter than expected
Given the level of rain in the area in the day before it's not a surprise as most courses would have struggled but it was a surprise how wet the course was in places.
Tee times were running slightly late because of a number of matchplays in the morning that went to the 21st but pace was good once I got going.
Really nice course, was in great condition. Some really good holes and it was a very enjoyable round
Lovely Course
I played on a sunny Sunday morning and the course was in brilliant condition. There are a good variety of holes with some you can open the shoulders and lash a drive and others where you have to think your way round and lay up. Well placed bunkers and plenty of sand in them (I was in 5!). Greens rolled fast & true. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable mornings golf.
