Decent wee course.

This is a decent course, fairways and greens were in good condition but the tee boxes were in really poor condition. Lay out is slightly confusing for someone playing it for the first time. There are a few blind holes but there are no bells to let you know if the group ahead are finished. Pace of play wasn’t great, however, I’ll put that down to the fact I was playing on a Saturday afternoon and the place was mobbed. Overall a decent course with friendly staff. For the price you’re paying I’d 100% recommend.

DO NOT PLAY

This is hands down the biggest waste of money I have ever paid. Everything after hole one was a shambles. Pace of play was insane we stood on a tee box for more than 30mins due to beginner players ahead not letting anyone play through. All blind holes do not have bells to allow players to know the fairway/green is clear.

Overall the worst course I have played and we walked off after 6 holes

A bit of a maze

First time playing and it’s a wonder we got round. So many holes close to each other and no signage. The condition wasn’t too bad overall, given its early season and the weather of late. At £16, it’s a decent price for what you get. Hills are a little crazy, so watch out.

Greens were just okay

Facilities decent, staff member was really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, greens were not great, quite bobbly. Fairways okay in light of rain. Hopefully will improve when it gets a bit drier.

Huge credit.

Considering the amount of rain this year the ground staff have done an amazing job. If your going to play the course show some respect to the staff and relace your divets.

Rouken Glen GC

The course was pretty soft due to the weather that week. The greens are good and true. Its was busy but flowed ok. It was great for a practice round and some holes are hard to score on. For the money I thought it was decent value. I would play it again when it dries out.

Challenging course

Good challenging course. A good test of golf with some challenging holes including the 200 yard par 3 3rd which plays up a steep hole.

We went on a wet day which was unfortunate as some of the valleys in the course were too muddy to be enjoyable but on a summers day this would be a proper course.

Will look forward to playing again in summer.

Run down. Lose all your balls in the rough.

No point in playing this course. Can hit a nice shot and it’s lost in long grass or plug under ground. Don’t bother wasting your time.
