El Dorado Park Golf Club

I book a time and didn't start at that time they need to speed things up or have some one at the first tee.

I played this course over 30,40times..
Usually always nicely managed nicely decent golfer playing a smooth fast pace golf. I had two 4 some in front of me that day and most of those players didn't wear golf shoes, obvious beginners beginners are OK as long as they try to keep up with the pace by getting ready for their ball or like u try to ride rather than walking. These people.were walking, talking while they wait for balls (even though they can hit)..called the Marshall and was told they paid for their dollar and can't force them.. well just very disappointed because it is a nice course that I usually liked to play and invited friends to play

Nice challenging course in better than good condition

If I knew half of all the greens were being worked on my foursome would have played elsewhere..

I loved this course. So many beautiful trees of all different types. The course is very challenging. Drop-offs on the greens many sand traps and water hazards. It is beautiful golf course. The staff is super friendly and it was a wonderful afternoon. I played on a holiday and thought it was going to be very crowded and they would be slow. Everyone kept right up and there was very little wait. This was my first time playing El Dorado. I will definitely be back!

The day we play was hot temperature alll over but Eldorado was very good choice ..and nice golf course ..

Had a tee time for 9:20 AM on a Friday. Unfortunately, the ladies club had the 10 tee times before us. We were delayed and did not tee off until close to 10. It took us 5 1/2 hours. I don't think it was the ladies fault, but every ahead of us was a 5some and it took forever! Course was in decent shape.

El Dorado fairways in poor shape, greens rough and it took 5:45 hrs to play round excluding a 20 min delay to start.

So how was our experience in a word TERRIBLE.

Started our round at 230 and didn't finish on a summer day, should be all you need to know right there. Greens are inconsistent and not taken care of. Course design is decent and could be a better place if they didn't send out as many people. Overall if it's a weekend it's not worth the money they are charging. Carts are limited too.

ELDO course conditions were let go after Long Beach Golf Festival Tournament. Greens 3/4 speed of tournament greens. Course seems defenseless.

We played this course the day after the Long Beach Open and for having that much traffic just prior to our round I have to say it was in very good shape. I'm an out-of-towner so I can't speak to the conditions of the course any other days of the year, but you could tell this course had been made "tournament ready" and it was a pleasure to play on.

Love the Staff! Love the course & play it several times a week or more late afternoon. Very reasonably priced, & I must say that I have never had the General Manager come out and introduce himself while we were on the course. He let us know that we were appreciated. Something very special to be sure!

Played this course for the first time. Course in great shape and price was good. Plan to play again on my next visit.

Good value at twilight on a nice course in less than five hours.

This golf course has narrow fairways and a good proportion of trees and water. The greens were aerated two weeks ago but are pretty good.

You expect a 4 1/2 hour round on the weekend.
This round was 5 1/2 hours. They didn't have carts available to start round (you had to wait for someone to finish to get your cart). Why because they put out "fivesome" after "fivesome" (gotta make their money and the golfer suffers the already slow play (spend some of that $$$ on improving the tee boxes). Marshall driving round doing nothing to improve pace of play. Overall
experience, terrible. The other groups (as many as three waiting on tees at all par 3's) all said
this was their last time playing here. I'll never go
back and I'll share my experience with anyone
that brings up this course to play.

Eventhough pace of play is only 1 stars, it took 5.5hours for our 5 some to finish the round. Started 12:30pm. There was 2, 5-somes in front of us and they were taking very long time due to their intermediate skill. But they knew golf etiquette and waved us on par 3s. I didn't think it was that bad considering you get rude slow-players at other courses.

Played this course for the first time, overall the course itself is in great condition. Like most the other reviews, you will be waiting.
Out the box they stack you deep, so around the 3rd or 4th hole hit up the snack stand and grab a few really tasty bloody mary's. Fairways and greens are well kept.

Granted holiday play, 20 minute behind tee time was really 45 minutes, leaves littered fairways contributing to lost balls n slow play, easily 5:30 round, too looong!

Course was looking good, greens were half punched but where pin is set was great. Challenging course have to hit good tee shots, and good approaches. Greens were fast. A great layout for golfers with many types of holes.
