The Troon Links - Fullarton sits just minutes from Royal Troon Golf Club's links and comes in at a relatively short 5,000 yards, making it appropriate for newer golfers or a quick warm-up.
The Troon Links - Fullarton is uplands links and features narrow fairways that undulate and are guarded by heather and gorse. The long hole comes first, measuring 434 yards, and six par-3 holes require precision rather than power.
Many golfers golf the Troon Municpal Fullarton Course in tandem with Lochgreen or Darley. Others, such as women and short-gamers, choose just these 18 holes.

Friendly staff, average course
Due to extremely dry weather, the course was not in great condition, apart from the greens. Welcome from staff was super - very friendly and helpful!
Good links
Played many times before they also have two other courses so plenty of variety.
Course quite short
Course quite short, suggest to get bit of length play iron from tee. Green run true. Tiny greens help to sharpen short game. Good course too losen up for one of the bigger courses.
Great course.
First time playing this course, enjoyed it. Would play it again.
Flavour of Fullerton
Definitely for the high handicapper but brings back the'feel good' factor when playing golf. Highly recommend it.

Lovely afternoon at Troon, we played off the white tees and absolutely loved this classic wee links course
Not geting a beer was the only disapointment grate day !
Troon Links - Fullerton
The course is the cheapest option of the 3 Ayrshire council run golf courses at Troon. It’s a pleasant enough experience to play ‘holiday’ golf on and easy on the legs as it’s very flat. However you get what you pay for: many rabbit holes all over the fairways, some untidy areas here and there and mundane, featureless holes. If you want a challenge on the golf course then pick another.
Decent
Good little course and probably one of the best council owned courses close to myself. Not at the private course standards but fair enough for the costs. Buggy cost 25 which I thought was dear as my club charges 15.
High handicapper
Enjoy playing Fullarton, shortish course but still need to hit it up the middle.
Greens in great condition.
