Heartwell Golf Course

This is not a course for low handicap or players in a hurry. It’s a great place to learn the game and just relax with a round of beginners . I’ve played 3 times ( I’m just learning) and each time been paired with a very diverse and fun group. Thank you for that. Each 18 hole round was about 3 hours. The staff is great in being patient with us newbies. I try to respect the people behind me and keep moving, including just picking up after 5 shots. Tees are from 70 to 150 yards. Nice and simple driving range and fairly level putting practice green. Chipping practice area is very small so practice 30-60 yards chips at driving range. Restaurant staff very friendly.

The Tee Boxes were reseeded and closed as is normal for golf courses this time of year. This resulted in majority of holes being 75-100 yards. Not the diversity of lengths to get a good round in but very good if you’re working on your short game. Greens in very good shape for a Par3. Staff are exceptional and helpful, especially to beginners and mid players. It’s really a bargain for what you get. I’m a beginner ( shot 62) and everyone around me was courteous, patient and helpful. Have never met golfers who are so intense… mostly people just happy to be out. Driving range, practice putting green are very good. Chipping green is tiny but usable. Staff is very helpful tho they could use some extra help when a line forms. You can rent a cart but the course isn’t long enough to need one. Only challenge is since you’re not hitting off tee box where you do tee off I’d rugged & I don’t like to use tees on such short holes - so pick your spot well.

Great time at Heartwell. Pace of play was awesome and staff is friendly. Great place to practice mid and short game, and the price is terrific.

Charged full price but all tee boxes were closed. Temporary boxes were on slopes or dirt.

Excellent little Billy Bell par 3 course. Always fun for working on approach shots. Tee boxes were under repair when I played but it looks like they’re coming in nicely.

Whole course is being renovated, all pins were moved to random areas and the terrain is second to none bad.

All 18 tee box are under maintenance so you are hitting 16 holes that are less than 100 yards away. No one informed us of this when we book nor when we check in. Feel cheated.

The tee boxes we're under renovation so we had to play pretty difficult lies on the temporary tee boxes. But I'm not holding that against the course because that tells me they are keeping up the conditions of the grass. Our group had two intermediate and one beginner, 18 holes, with cart. Pace was steady. Snack Bar had amazing breakfast burritos.

I wish this course would be more pro active about their course conditions when you go to book a tee time. Had I known the greens were recently aerated I would not of played here. Greens are slow enough as it is they don’t need to bumpiness! AND some of the tee boxes are being remodeled. They should at least discount the green fees! But no, it’s about the ‘all mighty dollar’ with this place.

I have played this course many times, currently the tee boxes are being re sodded and the greens have been aerated so you might want to wait a month to play again.

I had a very enjoyable round of golf at Heartwell GC. It’s a cool 18 hole, Par 3 with enough sand and water traps (when filled with water) to challenge most golfers looking to hone their short game.

It’s well laid out and can be easily walked or driven depending on your needs. The driving range is large enough to handle practicing golfers as well as those looking to warm-up prior to their round of golf. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You should give it a go!

Not a bad course for practicing your wedges and small irons. Tee boxes are terrible though. Still a quick little fun round
