Got a round in between rain storms so cart-path only…didn’t mind, beautiful surroundings - took about 5 hours. Really nice staff.
It was tough to get to golf course with road construction & High season for Apple Hill, now fast way to get to golf course, played behind a slow group which made it somewhat frustrating. But, we got 18 in before sunset.
One of my very favorites
This is a bit out of the way but it’s a gorgeous course. Great staff. Nice breakfast and lunch restaurant. Hard to find anything better for the cost.
This course is beautiful, but extremely
hard as it has a lot of trouble. You really
need to play it several times to score good.
Apple Mountain is in very good condition
I’ve played Apple Mountain quite a few times over the years but first time this year; the course was in very good shape. Greens were in great condition - a little bit slower than in the past which was a good thing. Like always staying in the fairway is paramount. Almost every hole has trouble; a tough course but can score well if you don’t lose many balls (that can be a big if). Gorgeous trees and scenery. Worth the drive.
One of the best challenges especially off the fairway.
Its closed and has been for years.
After making a tee time with you we drove to the location of the former Apple Mountain golf course and found an abandoned barn and former fairways with waist high weeds.
The place is closed.
Why do you still act like it is in business and accept teetimes?
What are you talking about? Apple Mountain golf course isn't closed!
Some of the tee boxes could use some help, but overall the course was like a picture post card, GREAT STAFF !!
Bring lots of balls. The course is not very forgiving to those of us that don’t hit straight and down the middle all the time. The atmosphere is beautiful, green and lush with lots of hills and valleys. The hard part is you rarely are hitting on flat ground. As my golf mates said, the golf course kicked out butt today.
Enjoyed golfing there, it’s a little difficult for seniors to walk on some holes when it was blocked about 100 yards to the green, very hilly. But we had a fun times.
The course and staff were great and amazing. My only complaint was that we were stuck behind multiple groups. We had a group of 4 that took almost 25 minutes for one hole so, being a party of 1 I skipped a hole to pass them only to get yelled at by them for moving a hole ahead of them.
