Apple Mountain Golf Resort

Don't go to Truckee, Lake Tahoe or Graeagle to golf. Apple Mountain is a beautiful course with scenery equally as beautiful as courses which cost 3-4x

Excellent round of golf on a beautiful and a bit challenging course

Great views with elevated greens and tees need carry hazards and few layout tees finished under 5 hours

Long round just under 5 hours with 6 Par 3s with small greens two tiers and undulated all pins on slope

Thumbs up! I try to play on way to Tahoe. Takes a few rounds to learn this course.

Course is in good shape after wet winter and mild summer. Greens were really nice. Not a wide open Sacramento valley course though. If you miss the fairway here you won’t be hitting from the next fairway over. Great weather all the way to dark too.

I've played this course countless times all through the year. The summer conditions are looking very good right now. Fairways were perfect. The greens were firm, not super fast. Unfortunately some of the par 3 greens had a TON of ball marks on them. Fix your ball marks people! If you can't do that then don't play golf!!

Wonderful play to play and it requires you to think about each shot. Luckily they have cheat sheets to give you guidance on each hole. Love this course!!!

Course layout is outstanding. It's a fairly difficult track, tight with a a lot of uneven lies. The greens are grainy and very fast. There were more than a few pins that were bordering on unfair however - just no way to get the ball close, and then you're left with a challenging two-putt. In my opinion, when you have putts rolling past the cup, and all the way off the green, there's something wrong with the setup. Takes a lot of the fun out of the round. The fairways are not as plush as other courses in the area. All in all, an enjoyable round.

I loved playing here. It’s a very difficult course but I would still recommend it. The greens are fast and it’s well taken care of.

This course was challenging and exciting. You are rewarded for great shots. There is lots of elevation change and the boxes are not always close so it's a cart-only course. We like to walk but found plenty of opportunities to get exercise. Well-balanced spacing between white and forward tees for women and seniors!

First off the staff is great! Very friendly.

The course is very challenging and is well manicured. Lots of hills and elevation changes. They even give you a “cheat sheet” to help you know what to hit off the tees and how the greens break. That was so helpful.
