Apple Mountain Golf Resort

Course layout is outstanding. It's a fairly difficult track, tight with a a lot of uneven lies. The greens are grainy and very fast. There were more than a few pins that were bordering on unfair however - just no way to get the ball close, and then you're left with a challenging two-putt. In my opinion, when you have putts rolling past the cup, and all the way off the green, there's something wrong with the setup. Takes a lot of the fun out of the round. The fairways are not as plush as other courses in the area. All in all, an enjoyable round.

I loved playing here. It’s a very difficult course but I would still recommend it. The greens are fast and it’s well taken care of.

This course was challenging and exciting. You are rewarded for great shots. There is lots of elevation change and the boxes are not always close so it's a cart-only course. We like to walk but found plenty of opportunities to get exercise. Well-balanced spacing between white and forward tees for women and seniors!

First off the staff is great! Very friendly.

The course is very challenging and is well manicured. Lots of hills and elevation changes. They even give you a “cheat sheet” to help you know what to hit off the tees and how the greens break. That was so helpful.

Planned a weekend getaway with golf and came across this course and decided to reserve a time. This course did not disappoint! It is in great shape and absolutely beautiful. The course is tight in a lot of areas, so if you don’t hit it straight, plan on taking extra balls in your bag. We had perfect weather and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Staff was really friendly and we look forward to playing there in the future.

Apple Mountain is a course with hazards everywhere. If you can’t control where you want your ball to go, you better bring plenty of balls. The sand traps had very wet sand in them. Overall, highly recommend.

Beautiful course. Probably the most beautiful in the sac area. Extremely hard, would not recommend to beginners or beware of expectations! Lot of obstacles, need to hit a fair distance to get on the fairway. Maybe play red or gold. Greens are challenging too. Don't think of walking here and be careful riding a cart. Very steep, but again so beautiful and serene

Well kept, beautiful course. Definitely challenging with all the hilly terrain and trees, but stay in the fairway and you're golden ;-)
