The Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

I play here once per month. Would come here more often if there were more Golf Now Hot Deals fir green fees around $40. Rarely happens. This is a challenging golf course. If you carry a higher than 15 handicap you ae going to lose at least 6 balls. The course is sceneic and peaceful. Enjoy!

Most of the bunkers weren't in very good shape, many had hard surface to them but what seems normal in many golf courses. We have a standing rule that you can rake some soft dirt/ sand to create a soft area to hit your ball from.

Challenging course but very picturesque. Excellent value for the money.

But today they had sanded all the greens with no notice when booking or even at check in.I literally hate punch or sanded greens as one of the most important aspects of golf is the putting but with sand or punched greens that’s out the door.On a positive note there are maintenece guys out everywhere doing work on the course and the track itself is great and challenging

Played here several times. Course was in great shape and it was a lovely day. Unfortunately I was unable to complete my round as we teed off Sunday at about 1:20 and the front 9 took over 2.5 hours to play with the back 9 not showing signs of improvement (I had another commitment I needed to get to). Not the worst ever, but this isn't a public muni, so I expected a significantly better pace.

Good course for the money, friendly staff. Just need snack bar to be open

Was obviously expecting a slow round on a beautiful Sunday, but this was ridiculous. Over 3 hours through 9 holes. We didn't have a hole where there was not two groups waiting on the teebox. Just a bunch of old farts waiting to go to golf heaven. One guy brought his dog who roamed around while he was playing or looking for golf balls. People more interested in looking for golf balls then playing their own ball! We left after 9. Great course, but will never play here again on a weekend.

I play at The Ridge once or twice per year and always enjoy the layout and the challenge it provides. The only drawback is the pace of play on weekends is typically very slow. I recently played on Mother’s Day and figured it may be less crowded, but that was not the case. The round took just over 5 hours and that was after I passed the group ahead of me which had 6 people; 4 players plus a toddler and an infant… that was a first and it doesn’t seem like a safe or practical ideas. Needless to say, they didn’t keep up with the group ahead of them.

The course was in great shape as it usually is. The greens were exceptionally firm, so expect a lot of rollout. I usually leave a pretty hefty pitch mark on the green but couldn’t find any during my latest round. Two days of high heat and no watering in between could have been the culprit.

Beautiful course. Friendly staff. Cart girl very nice and efficient. Clean facility. Nice driving range. Short game was small area. Just punched greens punched a week or so

Always enjoy this course. Each hole is a new challenge.
