Nestled in the rolling hills of Gold Country, Apple Mountain Resort has a dramatic landscape that provides plenty of elevation changes, making it a nearly impossible course to walk. Some of the drops from tee to green are unbelievable, offering unrivaled views of the surrounding mountains. Nearly every hole enjoys a stunning backdrop. The incredibly diverse terrain makes the golf course a challenge regardless of whether you are a novice or a pro. Golfers will have to contend with mature trees, water hazards, and numerous strategically placed bunkers in addition to the uneven lies and blind shots that are a result of the undulating landscape. Apple Mountain Resort's golf course is especially nice to play in the summer since its location enjoys a temperature that is at least a few degrees cooler than the Sacramento Valley.

First time playing this course and what a TREAT!

I was shocked at the beautiful conditions of this course, have driven past the area for years and had no idea this place was here. 10 out of 10, can’t wait to come back. Better have control of your ball or bring a few sleeves, very challenging. Greens were in great shape as was the entire course.

Great course great location

It is up in the mountains, so there is a lot of ups and downs. Be prepared to hit uphill. It is challenging, but if you're up for the challenge, great course.

Solid course!

Even in the rain it still had a bunch of people going! The course layout was great and was still kept in such good condition regardless of a little mud. Had a great day, pace of play was great, greens were still rolling. Cant wait to go again!
