Great track and facility

Loved the course. Great greens and fun layout. Doesn’t beat you up but still challenging. Lounge afterwards was great with super service from F&B Manager. Calamari and shrimp pasta delicious. GolfNow deal at $65 was a steal. Don’t miss this place

Poor management

After a two hour drive to get to play the tournament course at Country club of Houston (/( not to mention a trip from Nova Scotia to get to Texas ) I was informed “you cannot play there is a tournament today “..

Are you kidding me ? I drove two hours and you didn’t know in advance there was a tournament “ very unhappy .. Any thing you can do for me ? Carl McDermott

It’s not worth the time

Course is not worth it during winter time. Maybe will get better in spring/summer. Short staff was the excuse for Concessions and play was very slow.

GCOH Greens are Excellent !!

Golf club of Houston has done a fantastic job with their course maintenance during this 2022 winter season! The greens were rolling very pure at least 12 on the Stimp, extra smooth! Very very impressed with a Course conditions I played her hundreds of times and it’s in excellent shape right now January 2022.

Golf Club Houston is my favorite track to play but since Redstone sold it, the level of service has not been the same .My experience Sunday was a disaster because there was a tournament and the course booked tee times BEFORE the shot gun came off the course. The result was a 5 1/2 hour experience from tee time to finish. The biggest reason that people are willing to pay a premium is they know a 4 1/2 hour round is not only possible but highly likely. Everyone should call ahead and ask if there is a tournament prior to booking a tee time. All that being said, the course was in FABULOUS condition!

Highly recommend playing here

First time playing here and had a blast. Perfect greens, fairways, and tee boxes with a beautiful and challenging layout. It played really slow the first 7 holes due to a tournament in front of us but sped up after that. Overall, really enjoyed the course and will definitely be going back.

Slow

Excellent course, but pace of play was super slow. We checked the time on the 5th tee box and were on a 6 hour pace. A Marshall would have been nice.

Good Winter play

Course was in extremely good shape considering the time year. It was the son-in-laws 1st time to play the course.....and he enjoyed in very much. The wheels fell off a little on 18 and provided an inch of water displacement from the 3 of us!! LOL ...... ALL in ALL it was a great time!
