Golf Club of Houston - Tournament Course

If you like fast greens & a tough layout, this is the place.

It is great course with excellent condition. However, I was paired with a gentleman, who is not friendly at all and friendly to played more than one ball so often. ..... No marshals to rule on playing pace.... I will play back on weekday, definitely not weekend and holiday.

To avoid hot Houston summer, tried to get on at 7 am tee time. The pro shop wasn’t open at 6 as listed. There were no balls at the range. The staff was rude . Not worth the extra $50 I paid to tee off early when you don’t feel welcomed

Beautiful scenery, quiet, calm and well kept course. Perfect greens compared to your cheaper courses. One downside is sun exposure on the course. If it is hot and bright, you will need a gallon of water. Very little shade but that is kind of expected on a golf course.

Wish it were slightly more affordable but $100 gets you a really nice golf cart on a beautiful course. Definitely recommend.

This course rarely disappoints. It's more expensive than your typically public course but it's typically in really good shape and it's a fun layout. Good mix of short and long holes. It took a full five hours to complete the round which was disappointing but it was a holiday weekend and cart path only so I wasn't expecting to finish in four. Practice area is wonderful too. It's always cool to play a course that the pros (used to) play.

I have played this course several times and it seems to get better. The course is in wonderful shape. The staff is great. If you're in the Houston area, I highly recommend.

Course in great shape. Helpful friendly staff. Pace of play was overall fine, but the layout does have a couple of bottlenecks with some reachable par 4’s forcing longer hitters to wait on the greens. But still only a 4hr round!!

For the price I paid I wish some of the fairways were in better shape. Some of the tee boxes could use a little TLC as well. Bunkers and green were all excellent (a few patches on greens they are working on but holes were cut far from there. Biggest downside to the course it the signs coming in were a bit confusing. Looking forward to coming back in about a month to see if they recovered the fairways!
